I saw him as soon as he rounded the corner. When he walked by the entrance of the empty science classroom, I fisted my hand in his shirt and pulled him inside.
"Hi," I whispered. He took a second to adjust to the dimly lit room, as his eyes found my face.
"Hey, baby," he rasped. I leaned up and kissed his perfect lips. My hands travelled underneath his shirt, fingers grazing his defined abs. His hands moved to my ass, as he hoisted me up onto the counter of a lab station.
"I missed you, yesterday," he said, nibbling on my neck. I missed him too and it sucked that we had to keep sneaking around, but we had to keep it a secret from my best friend. I'm a horrible friend for doing this, but you can't help who you fall for.
"We still on for this weekend?" I stared into his eyes and nodded my head. "I'll leave first."
I watched his tall frame slip past the door, leaving me alone in the classroom. I fell back against the wall, and slid down to the floor, taking a few seconds to compose myself. I wish it didn't have to be like this.
Grabbing my bag, I thrust open the door and walked out. I removed my phone from my pocket, and sent a text.
Libra: where are you guys?
Aquarius: just got here :) meet us in the courtyard
I sped down the steps eager to see my besties. Once I arrived in the courtyard, I easily spotted Gemini's pink hair. I pushed away my guilt, and eagerly hugged them.
"What did coach say?" At Aqua's question I started panicking to find a response. Since we normally rode to school together, I had told them I had to come early to speak with coach, as I was the captain of the cheer squad.
"She just wanted to know if we were all set for today's basketball game," I lied.
"Hmm, she couldn't have texted you?" Gemini wasn't buying my lie, knowing coach was chill enough to message me about something like that. I avoided eye contact and shrugged my shoulders. Thankfully, three loud dings echoed through the campus.
Saved by the bell.
I practically ran away to my first period. At the very end of the hall, I threw open the door to my school newspaper class and my mood brightened when I saw Cancer. We had met a few weeks ago when school had started and instantly became friends.
My phone buzzed, so I looked down at my hand.
Gemini: party at mine tonight after the game
Libra: can I bring a few friends?
Gemini: yes!!
"You're coming to a party tonight. Bring a couple friends!" I grinned at Cancer.

Gemini and I watched Libra speed away like her ass was on fire.
"It's a boy," Gemini smirked. "It has to be a boy. She's been acting so weird." Libra had been really distant lately.
"But why wouldn't she tell us? She always tells us about boys," I wondered.
"C'mon let's go. We can interrogate her later," Gemini said, dragging me to class. We arrived at pre-calc, and Gemini and I took a seat in the middle of the room. I felt eyes on me and looked behind to see Taurus watching me. My cheeks reddened and I turned back around.
"What is Aries doing here?" I followed Gemini's gaze to the front of the classroom. There stood our school's king. He didn't have this class, and I was almost positive he took it last year. I would've been super intimidated by him, but we were friends now since I was Gem's bestie, and Scorpio and Aries were close.
