Thank god it was finally lunch. On my way to the cafeteria an arm looped around my neck, and a brown haired boy matched my stride beside me.
"What do you want, Leo?" I smiled and attempted to push him away, but failed as he was a foot taller than me. Cursing my short genes, I steered us toward the lunch line. Leo stopped us at the bakery section, and I patiently waited for him to get all his junk.
"Two cookies, a slice of cake, three brownies," Leo ordered. I rolled my eyes about to smack him. How was he so in shape?
"Oh, cheer up. I'll share, Vi," he grinned.
"No, thanks. I'd rather not get diabetes," I snapped. Leo chuckled, not fazed by my rudeness. He was so damn cocky.
"Are you a doughnut? Cause I find you a-dough-rable," Leo flirted. I couldn't help but crack a smile at that, and a small blush coated my cheeks. My eyes wandered over his shoulder, where I was met with Aries's penetrating gaze.
He was standing with a dark-haired boy named Scorpio and three cheerleaders I knew off. One was Libra and I wasn't sure of the names of the other two. Aries's furious, red eyes were glaring at the body pressed to my side.
Something in his gaze made me shake off Leo's arm and step away. I immediately regretted what I did when a laughing Libra laid her hand on his arm. Although I couldn't hear what they were saying, it looked like she was flirting with him. I huffed and forced my eyes elsewhere.
"Let's go," Leo said. When I was distracted, he had grabbed lunch for me. I followed him to our usual table where we sat with Cancer, Sagittarius, and a few other guys I never spoke to.
"Vi, we're going to a party tonight! It's after their game," Cancer squealed, motioning to Leo and Sag.
"Scorpio also invited me!" I wasn't planning on going without my best friend, so this was perfect.
"Scorpio? The hot senior?" At the mention of Cancer calling his teammate hot, Sagittarius looked over and frowned. He threw his arm around her chair, and then continued talking to Leo. I raised an eyebrow at Cancer and she looked down, the corners of her mouth tilting up.
"We're partners for a project. His girlfriend is the one hosting the party tonight," I answered.

Everyone cheered loudly as I made the final basket putting our team in the lead. The buzzer sounded and the game was over. I smirked and met Cancer's gaze in the stands. She was standing with a huge smile on her face, waving her arms like a crazy person.
Leo was the first to pat me on the back, and congratulate me. All the other team members and even Scorpio followed suit. The only one that didn't even look my way was our captain. My brother, Aries, was an asshole, to put it simply. He was the favorite child that could do no wrong and always got his way.
I sauntered to the locker room, trying to be happy and focus on our win. I was about to take a shower and then go find Cancer when my phone began ringing. The screen displayed 'Mom'. I accepted and put the phone to my ear.
"Sagittarius, come home NOW," my mom screamed in my ear. I winced, as she ended the call.
"What's up?" Leo was beside me, with a concerned look on his face.
"Mom," I answered, not wanting to talk about it. "You need a ride to the party or am I only picking up Cance and Vi?"
"Nah, I'll make it there myself," Leo replied.
I slammed my locker closed, and bolted to my car. As soon as I pulled away from the parking lot, I got a call from Cancer.
"Hey," I said.
