As the High Inquisitors led what remained of his squadron of Inquisitors deeper into the Black Gorge in search for the Storm Hawks, the High Inquisitor continued to suffer from the effects of Gorge Madness. As they began moving through the caverns, the High Inquisitor gripped his Crystal Powered Bident and attacked a rock formation much to the confusion of the other Inquisitors. The High Inquisitor continued to mutter the Inquisitor Vow as he led the way. As they moved further into the caverns, one of the Inquisitors approached him.
Inquisitor: Are you okay, High Inquisitor?
As the High Inquisitor turned around, the Inquisitor could see that the High Inquisitor had darting eyes and began to show signs of shortness of breath.
Inquisitor: P...perhaps we should.....
Before the Inquisitor could finish his sentence, the High Inquisitor impaled the Inquisitor with his Bident and tossed him over the chasm. The High Inquisitor then turned to the rest of the Inquisitors.
High Inquisitor: Anyone who dares question my authority shall suffer the same fate as the Storm Hawks! We will not stop until we have the heads of every single Storm Hawk! Until our task is done, we will remain in the Black Gorge and hunt them down!
Left with no other choice, the remaining Inquisitors were forced to follow the increasingly unhinged and unstable High Inquisitor. As the Inquisitors continued to move through the caverns, the Storm Hawks were watching them from a safe distance.
Aerrow: Good job leading them to the caverns, Radarr! Piper, are the traps ready?
Piper: Ready and set!
Junko: I wonder if we'll see Mr. Cheepers.
Finn: If that little gremlin is still kicking it, I'm sure these guys will!
The Storm Hawks watched as the Inquisitors continued to move through the caverns. Suddenly, one of the Inquisitors stepped on something and the Inquisitor is engulfed by a foul smelling gas.
High Inquisitor: The Storm Hawks have set traps for us. YOUR TRAPS WON'T STOP US! DO YOU HEAR ME, STORM HAWKS?!
As the High Inquisitor said this, several small furry creatures began to approach the Cyclonian Inquisitors. At first, the Inquisitors were unfazed by this until several fireworks were fired onto the roof, causing sunlight to shine on the creatures, revealing them to be Spiny Gorge Sloths.
High Inquisitor: Kill them! Wipe them out!
The High Inquisitor lunged at one of the Spiny Gorge Sloths and impaled it's skull with his Bident. The rest of the Inquisitors followed the High Inquisitor's lead and attacked the Spiny Gorge Sloths. As the Inquisitors held their ground, the Spiny Gorge Sloths began to kill off the remaining Inquisitors one by one. Soon enough, the High Inquisitor was all that remained. He gripped his Bident as he began to see a hallucination of Master Cyclonis as if she was leading them.
Master Cyclonis(Hallucination): In time, all the Sky Knights shall fall. For too long, the Storm Hawks have been a thorn in my side. They have impeded the progress of the Cyclonian Empire time and time again. My most loyal of servants have failed me. Now I call upon the Inquisitorius to hunt down the Storm Hawks.
In that moment, the Gorge Madness had fully gripped the High Inquisitor as he flew into a frenzied rage and began killing the Spiny Gorge Sloths one by one. Despite being outnumbered, the High Inquisitor managed to kill much of the Spiny Gorge Sloths until the remaining Spiny Gorge Sloths ran away. As the High Inquisitor was left alone, he continued his search for the Storm Hawks. He began seeing hallucinations of countless Inquisitors.
Inquisitors(Hallucination): We are the fist of the Cyclonian Empire. We are the righteous justice of the Cyclonian Empire. We will punish all enemies of the Cyclonian Empire. We will purge them from Atmos. We pledge our bodies and minds to Master Cyclonis until death takes us all.
The High Inquisitor continued to mutter the vow as paranoia gripped him. Eventually, he finally reached the dead end of the caverns. The High Inquisitor looked around for any signs of the Storm Hawks.
High Inquisitor: Where are you....WHERE ARE YOU?! SHOW YOURSELVES! I KNOW YOU'RE HERE! YOU CAN'T ESCAPE ME!
Suddenly, whistling was heard. The High Inquisitor turned around to see the Storm Hawks ready for a fight.
Aerrow: You wanted us, Inquisitor? Here we are!
High Inquisitor: Finally....finally.....after all this time....
Finn: Uh guys? Is it me or did this guy snap?
Stork: Yep. Gorge Madness. He's got a worse case than you did.
The Storm Hawks became cautious as the unstable High Inquisitor exhibited all the symptoms of Gorge Madness.
High Inquisitor: I am the fist of the Cyclonian Empire. I am the righteous justice of the Cyclonian Empire. I will punish all enemies of the Cyclonian Empire. I will purge them from Atmos. I pledge my body and mind to you, Master Cyclonis until death takes me. Until death takes me. Until death takes me.
Aerrow: Give it up, Inquisitor. It's over. You've lost.
High Inquisitor: No. No....no...no! You are all stains upon our glorious society and all of Atmos! Weak, corrupt and arrogant, you all must be punished! You all must be purged! Show no fear. Show no compassion. Show no hesitation But most of all, show no mercy. No mercy!
In that moment, the Storm Hawks found themselves face to face with the High Inquisitor. Fully gripped by the Gorge Madness, the High Inquisitor's fanatical devotion to Master Cyclonis and the Cyclonian Empire has made him a more dangerous enemy.
