Evergreen sat on her bed, crying, today was a day she dreaded, last night the only boy she was close too was arrested. She heard bells and ran out into the town square, into a crowd. And that's when she saw it, the noose set up in the middle of the square.
A man walked Gideon up to the noose and Evergreen started running towards the center of the square, Someone else grabbed Evie by her arms. She started crying again.
They took off the bag from gideons head and he saw Evie in the crowd, trying her best to get to him. He shook his head towards her.
They let the bottom under Gideon out and he was slowly choked by the noose, Evergreen collapsed onto the ground, her pale body shaking as she cried, unable to stop watching.
Gideon looked at her until he blacked out.
Evergreen ran over when she was finally let go, but she was pushed away by the same man who had put that rope around her lovers neck. Evergreen was still sobbing, trying to get past the man to try and save Gideon, even though she knew it was no hope. "Hes not evil, he's not, he's a cuddler, and he's a good person, just a little angry" she rambled on and on. Still trying to push past the man who killed Gideon, but it was no use.
