and as you turned and looked at the screen, the originally serious (lowkey intimidating) expression on your face turned into a smile. the corners of your eyes melts downwards like ice cream on a hot summer day, forming moon-like curves. you looked away with embarrassment and continued dancing, pretending that i was not filming you for the past thirty seconds. those lips flattened out into a smile as you laughed at yourself.
as cliche as this sounds, it was in that moment that i realised; you were the one that makes me feel safe, protected, warm; you are my home.
