While Mash was explaining the situation to the scared and confused knights, i was petting Juniper after she came back. The floof was a comforting material used to calm the poor souls.
It took a lot of convincing for the knights to lower their guard a bit, not much but enough for a civilized conversation. They seemed to understand our goals, they were more than happy to help once they found out.
Knight : i see, so if you get the holy grail you can fix all this?
Mash : correct, however it needs to be secured imediately to prevent further damage from happening.
The knight nodded his head in understanding, i turned towards Dream to see him flying in the air by using an elytra. Artoria was chatting with Lancelot about her kingdom, or something.
A ranger from ahead of the group was running back to us with a pale face.
Ranger : captain! A group of wyverns are blocking our path to the safe haven!
Knight : shit! Prepare a division of spear men and archers imediately!
Ranger : roger!
I tap his arm and held out Juniper, who waved at him. However his face paled even further.
Knight : i refuse to use an eldritch horror on the battle field.
Juniper : *sad moth baby noises*
Jack : sorry Juniper, seems like i'll be doing the hard work this time.
Juniper nodded her head sadly and crawled into one of my pockets. I open the selection tab, then i chose the grapple pilot tacital and a R97-CN.

The grapple may not be as effective in an open area, but i can still swing around like a monkey. I then took a running start, jumped and then started to skid across the floor at around 60-80km an hour.
This is what you call "B-hopping".
Dream : that breaks so many laws of physics.
Gudako : don't question it, it makes the process of understanding easier.
Lancelot : wouldn't that make it more problematic instead?
Gudako : trust me.
I had gotten close enough to see the swarm of wyverns in the distance, i continued to B-hop and then launch a grapple at one of the wyverns. The grapple pierced through its neck and i swung around into another wyvern, i kicked it with enough forced to break concrete, which was more than enough to pulverize a skull.
Using its corpses as a trampoline i propel myself to the next wyvern while firing off the entire mag at any other wyvern. Once i had gotten close enough i use the jump kit to pull the wyvern towards me and slammed my boot into its neck.
