That's it, let's start the actual story, finally ------------------

For the past couple of months, I've been talking a lot to this girl I met on Instagram. Her name's Cassandra, she's from Romania and we get along super well. Now that school's over, we can finally meet in real life. We've been planning that for so long, it seems unbelievable that it's actually going to happen.

It was very early in the morning, it's maybe better to say how it was very late at night, when the alarm on my phone went off.  I sighed and turned it off, immediately getting up. I knew very well that there's no time to waste; I had to go to the airport as today was the day when I leave for Romania. My suitcase was almost packed, only some small things missing like my toothbrush, toothpaste, makeup... I ate some toast, put some light makeup on and brushed my teeth. Getting ready for the airport didn't take me too long, I wasn't doing anything extravagant. I got there by taxi, somehow I managed to not be super early nor late. The sweet sound of my suitcase's little wheels rolling on the asphalt filled my ears as I imagined all the amazing things I'll be doing for the next 7 days. Since I was just in time, I had to wait in line to do the check-in for my flight and to hand over all my luggage other than a small handbag that is going with me. I passed the security gates without any issues and now I just had to find my terminal. The seemingly endless hallways, elevators and escalators of the airport started tiring me, but I was not going to ask for help. I walked near the large floor-to-ceiling windows, watching the planes on the ramps outside, trucks with bags driving from one end to the other - the way that airports are organized was always amazing to me. Finally, I found my flight's terminal, after what seemed like hours but after checking my phone I realized it took only twenty minutes. When I got to my seat on the plane, I messaged Cassandra, telling her how the flight will soon start. She said how she'll wait for me at the airport in Romania. Soon the flight attendant started showing us what to do in case of emergency and after that, the plane took off. This wasn't my first time flying, but watching the soft, white clouds will never be boring to me, therefore I spent the entirety of the flight looking out the window. Maybe I fell asleep at some point because the time went extremely fast and I was woken up by the voice on the speaker, demanding for the passengers to put their seatbelts on and prepare for landing. I'd love to message Cassandra that we're almost there and check where she is, but I couldn't yet. As we landed, I realized that the worst part of the flying experience is just about to begin: when everyone in the plane stands up, waiting to leave, but can't yet because the people in the front haven't left yet. Not only that, but I also have to lose my mind over finding where my luggage is while also dealing with a headache and overwhelming happiness that I am with Cassandra. While waiting to get out of the plane, I texted her, asking where she is, but she didn't respond, so I assumed she is driving here.
