I woke up this morning to my phone alarm going off, i grab my phone and turn it off before niomi wakes up. I got out of bed careful not to wake niomi up, i go in the bathroom and do my business before brushing my teeth and washing my face.
Our flight isn't till later today at 7 but you know black people always find some kind of way to be late. So i grabbed our suitcases and put them by the front door.
Making my way into the kitchen so i could cook her some breakfast in bed i get a call from one of my homies Jay. I press answer and set the camera up while i cracked the eggs.
"Ayo bro you gon come onna block today?" he asked as the connected
"Nah me and my girl leaving for miami today"
"Oh shit you gotta girl now? you taking her serious?"
"Hell yea i am that girl everything i need in life"
"Aww look at the pimp in love"
"Nigga get on" I laughed "But nah i do love her tho"
"Man must be nice i need me a wife"He shook his head
"Then stop being a hoe jay"
"That's a lot you're-" he was cut off by niomi walking into the kitchen
"Papa? what are you doing come back to bed i wanna cuddle"
"I'm making breakfast mama go lay back down i'll bring it to you when i'm done"
"Okay...gimme kiss" she walked up to me standing on her tip toes i leaned down and connected our lips for a few seconds before pulling away
"Awww yall cute" Jay said making niomi looking at my phone
"Who is that?" she asked looking back up at me
"That's the homie jay"
"Oh well i'm going back to bed"
"Alright ill be there inna few" She walked out of the kitchen and i turned my attention back towards jay
"Why she lowkey looked like Kayden sister" I looked at him like he was dumb
"Cause that is kaydens sister dummy"
"Oh shit he cool with that?"
"Nah but we grown it don't matter"
"Oh aight well i gotta go hit this drop let me know when you get back from that trip"
"Aigh stay dangerous"
"Stay dangerous" He hung up and i continued cooking breakfast for me and niomi.
I have a couple last minute clients i gotta cut them me and niomi can leave. I'm nervous about giving her the promise i don't wanna mess up anything for us especially right now cause are relationship is going great.
5 HOURS LATER
i'm at the shop right now waiting for the dude darren and his son to slide through then im heading home so me and niomi could head to the airport. After a few minutes i saw a dude and a kid walk in
"Are you Jah'meir?" he asked looking at me
"Yea that me" I get up out the chair to stand behind it
"Aigh cool could you just give my son a taper"
"Yea i got lil dude"
Im the middle of cutting his hair a woman and a kid who im guessing is her son walk in. She walked towards my station and stands there
"How may i help you?" I asked
"Oh um i was wondering if you could cut my sons hair"
"Sorry ma'am i gotta push it to the airport after them"
"Well can i get your number for business reasons?" She started smirking a little
"There's a business card by the door you can call the shop phone you don't need my number" I told her
"Well what if i want your number for other reasons?"
"Nah i gotta girl , you can get the business card and keep it pushing"
She stared at me for a few seconds before grabbing a business card and leaving. Darren bust out laughing when the door closed
"You ain't have to do her like that" He shook his head still laughing
"Yes i did she didn't get the hint"
"I heard you said you going to the airport after this what you got going on"
"Me and my girl the one who gave you my number talking a trip to miami for a couple days"
"Oh that's wassup i hope y'all have fun"
"Good looks my guy"
AT THE AIRPORT
"Are you excited bae?" Niomi asked as we waiting for our flight to be called
"Yea i can finally spend as much time with you without having to go into work"
"I know i can't wait to just lay down on the beach"
"I can't wait to just lay up under you"
"You already do papa" She giggled
"I know but now i don't have to worry about anything"
"I really like being around you i feel so at peace" She looked up at me rubbing my cheek"
I look down at her before leaning in and kissing her. As i pulled away our flight was called and we boarded the plane and took our seats
"Take a nap we got 9 hours on this plane" I said to niomi putting a blanket over us before grabbing her hand in mines.
She kisses my cheeks then lays her head on my shoulder closing her eyes. I hope this trip goes as planned.
