I open my eyes and find myself caged.
I don't know how this happened but i think that's for the best.
All i know is that an aswang took me as i passed out.
I look around and notice the twins are also caged.
I try to wake them up by yelling but to no luck, they don't wake up. This is all my fault.
I hug my knees and start to cry.
If i weren't dumb enough to go to my house, this would have never happened. All this happened because of me.
Why can't they just take me? Why do they have to involve other people? I'm thr one they want. Not them.
I try to break the cell but i can't. I'm weak. How can i be rumored to be powerful when i can barely do anything on my own?
I remember the painful memories again and i just start to cry. None of this would've happened if i didn't exist. I shouldn't have been resurrected. That was the whole reason why i'm here.
I keep crying.
Until i hear the lock of my cage opening.
I look at the person and see Alexandra.
She opens the lock and pulls me out.
"i'll get you out of here." she whispers in my ears.
She then opens the lock of the twins' cage. She makes me carry them both by their hands on my shoulder.
Oh, god, they're heavy.
I start walking, the heaviness slowly fading away.
I start walking normally as i carry them.
We keep walking until we reach the altar. Seems like we're in a church. Not sure where this is exactly, but that's not important right now.
As we keep waking, Alexandra suddenly got taken by a flying aswang.
Her knife is nowhere to be found.
Then the other flying aswang flies towards me. I start running but they catch up to me.
To my surprise, they don't take me. Instead, they take the twins.
Oh no.
Then a man dressed fancily comes from behind the aswang crowd.
I look at him and immediately recognises him. He's the mayor. What's he doing here?
"(M/n). You're finally awake. I've been waiting." The mayor says as he looks at me with scary eyes.
I just look at him in horror and shock as i start backing off slowly.
"look, i'm gonna make you choose." he says as he looks at me with those scary eyes and a smirk.
I just look at him in horror again.
I'm so confused. What's happening?
"either you let me use you, or your friends die." he says, his gaze becoming more scary.
What is happening? Use me? I can barely even do anything! What is he gonna use me for?
*Third Person POV*
(M/n) stands there in horror. Still confused to what's happening.
Mayor Santamaria walks closer to (M/n), and (M/n) starts backing off.
"it's time to choose, (M/n). It's either your life or your friends' lives." Mayor Santamaria says as he stops walking and just stares at (M/n) in anger.
My life isn't worth three lives. I can't replace my life with their lives. This all happened because of me. It's my fault, so i should pay the consequences. No one deserves to die because of me. I'm no one. I don't deserve to live. I'm not even supposed to be alive. My life isn't worth theirs. Their lives are worth more than mine. They gave me a place to be comfortable in, they made me believe i still have a chance. Giving my life for them is the bare minimum of what i could do for them. (M/n) thought as he looks at the ground, tearing up.
He then looks up and stares at Mayor Santamaria, still crying.
Then the twins wake up. The first thing they see is (M/n) crying and them being held by a crowd of aswang. They look around and see Alexandra still passed out, also being held by the same crowd of aswang.
(M/n) walks closer to Mayor Santamaria.
Mayor Santamaria smiles.
The twins yell for (M/n) to stop. But he doesn't.
As (M/n) keeps walking, he's finally in front of Mayor Santamaria.
Mayor Santamaria just smiles and hands (M/n) a potion.
The potion's purpose is to completely take control of a person/creature. It also transforms the person/creature to it's most powerful form. As the targeted person/creature drinks the potion, they will feel much pain as they transform into their most powerful form. As the person transforms, they will feel the most painful torture. And after they transform, they will obey and let you take control of them however you want.
(M/n) holds the potion and hesitates to drink it.
"JUST DRINK IT! IF YOU DON'T, YOU KNOW WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN!" Mayor Santamaria yells at (M/n) and (M/n) flinches.
(M/n) looks at his friends, smiling at them sadly.
The twins were crying. Still yelling for
(M/n) to not do it.
The twins haven't felt like this for anyone. They are sure that (M/n) is their soul mate. And they want nothing but (M/n) to return those feelings. Now that (M/n) might die, they would regret everything if they don't atleast tell (M/n) their feelings for him.
(M/n) looks longer at the twins as he also starts tearing up. Then he just drinks the potion without hesitation.

Jkjk this isn't the ending! I just wanted to write the other part on another chapter cause why not?
