Let's go at chapter 7!
Hours later, it was getting pretty dark.
Wilbur had just extinguished the campfire. "Okay, don't take my spot again, or I'll-"
He got cut off when the little fur ball ran into the tent and stole his spot.
Again...
"OH MY- Are you fucking kidding me right now?" Wilbur grilled handfuls of his hair.
"Okay, that's how you want to play?" Wilbur got into the tent with the ram.
Nope, it's not working.
"When did you get so heavy?" Wilbur couldn't even move the ram one inch.
Soon enough, he gave up.
"Oh, I'm starting to dislike you, fur boy." Wilbur said.
The ram softly baa'd, eyes closed as he rested.
Wilbur lied down, covering his eyes with an arm over his face. He sighed. "You're a tough one, aren't you? Coming out here to survive on your own, and have the guts to stay with another loner like me."
He looked over at the sleeping ram.
"..."
Wilbur decided to stay up all night. He scavenged for stones, and cut off parts off of trees. He collected some of those stringy wood roots for laces.
He sat on a big-ish rock sitting on the edge of the lake by the camp. The brunette carved up the shape of a knife on a rock.
After maybe an hour or so, he was practically hammering a wood handle onto the thinnest part of the carved rock.
He held the 'knife' in his hand, running a finger along the sharp part of the weapon.
Wilbur walked towards a cave, touching the very tip of a cave spike on the ground. "Hm."
He crouched down to the cave spike, and noticed that it's texture was pretty easy to break.
After about 2 hours, he had fully surrounded his camp with the spikes.
A picture of what Wilbur has built and done will be shown in a moment.
"Hm?" Wilbur had stepped on something hard.
He crouched down and pushed some dirt out of the way, and picked up the object hiding under the dirt.
An old clay roof tile? He thought.
Suddenly he had an idea on what to make.
A trap for mostly rabbits and hares.
Wilbur had seen a couple hopping around in the past, so perhaps making some traps would be appropriate. He can then collect food for himself.
They seem a bit complicated, but actually work pretty well after a few tests on them.
After a few minutes, he carved out a gate and connected it to two wood posts for the entrance and exit of his camp. This is better so that predators can't get in easily.
This picture shows what's been done.
Wilbur had taken the time to make more tools as it got brighter and brighter in the morning.
And by the way, the traps are outside of the camp in a distance. It takes a few minutes to walk to the traps and back, so probably about 10-20 minutes to check and reset the traps.
