"Does it taste better than hospital food?" Raiden asked.

"Much better." I said before taking the last bite of the burger.

The day after my release Raiden had called me out to lunch and wanted it to be just the two of us. I was nervous as to what he had to say.

"So instead of continuing the act of you not remembering anything, do you want to talk about it or just leave it as is?" He said simply.

"How'd you know?"

"Milton called me after he talked to you and said he made things clear and asked me to look after you." he scoffed and shook his head. "He said you only remembered the accident but you just admitted you remembered everything right."

"Nice one." I said, shaking my head. "Pretty messed up, huh."

"Yeah, I'd say so. I won't push the subject so if you don't care to talk about it, no worries."

"Yeah I don't really care to dwell over it, at least not while I have company."

"Understandable."

"I have a question for you though." I told him.

"What?"

"Have you ever had sex with someone and then act like it didn't happen?" I asked.

"Since I've never had sex, I would have to say no." he shrugged. "Wait, is that what Milton did?"

"He didn't tell you?"

"No, he just said he talked to you and cleared everything up."

"Really trying to forget it huh" I cleared my throat. "Anyways what's Tom up to? I haven't heard from him since he left the hospital."

"Oh he found a girl." Raiden said with a smirk.

"No way, did someone pay her or something?"

"Haha, that's messed up."

"That is pretty fucked up." Tom said from behind me, along with a girl at his side.

"My bad, I was just making a friendly joke." I said with a smile.

"Yeah right. Anyways, this is Macy." he said, showing her off.

She was actually cute and I wondered if she really was paid to date him. Tom wasn't very popular with girls and if you didn't mind dirty jokes or had a lot of patience he was hard to handle.

"What's up?" Milton said coming up from behind as well.

"I ran into him on the way here, and I saw you guys so I thought we might as well all eat together." Tom said, about to take a seat.

"Sorry but we just finished and planned to go buy that new video game that came out." Raiden said, rising from his seat.

"Shit dude, I want to play too." Tom said.

"I don't mind if you go, just give me a call later." Macy said with complete acceptance.

"Do you really want to leave this one behind?" Raiden whispered in his ear.

"Nah you're right, I can play the game whenever." He wrapped his arm around her and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"What about you Milton, you want to go up to my room and play with us?"

Raiden knew his answer would be no, I doubt he would want to return to the room where he regretted his actions, anytime soon.

"No, I was just on my way home when I ran into Tom, I'll see you guys later."

"It was nice to meet you." I said smiling at Macy and gestured for her to take my seat.

"Later you guys." Raiden said.

After walking out the door with Raiden and leaving Milton behind, many things ended up changing yet some, not at all.
