How to Be a Pureblood

STUFF I CHANGED FROM CANON:

This is technically a sequel for my other book, Nyctophobia, but can be read as a stand-alone, with a few things put into context.

1. Basically, Snape isn't going to be a bad teacher (or an all around terrible human being), cause character development in the last book. He'll still be a very strict teacher, but not, y'know, cruel.

2. He doesn't absolutely despise Sirius Black, or any of the Marauders really, but he still doesn't really like them.

GENERAL TRIGGER WARNINGS (will have more at the top of every chapter, and won't get into most of these until much later):

Food, eating, blood, homophobia, transphobia, self-harm (not necessarily cutting), eating disorders, ableism, dysfunctional families, child abuse, child sexual assault, child neglect, depression, anxiety attacks, anxious thoughts, intrusive thoughts (I think), misgendering.

OTHER MILDLY IMPORTANT INFO:

If you are homophobic or transphobic, don't read my books, and stay far away from me. The main character is an enby (they'll realize it eventually, and I will change their pronouns in writing as they realize it). I don't see much fanfiction with enby OCs, so as an enby myself (they/them, it/its, xe/xem, or ze/zem please) I have taken it upon myself to write what I wanted.

I accept and welcome constructive criticism, but please be nice.

Everyone is 1000% percent allowed and welcome to ask me to update. Validation is my motivation. If this changes, I will let you know, but I've been writing fanfic for like two years now, and it hasn't yet.

There will be a love interest eventually, but it won't be the focus of the story, and I can't say who yet, because I'm still on the fence between two people. You are absolutely welcome to guess though, and let me know. (It won't be Draco Malfoy though).

That's all I can think of for now, I'll add more if I remember anything else, and please, if you notice any triggers in my writing that aren't labelled, let me know.

UPDATES WILL BE SPORADIC AT BEST!! I'm moving back to the US from Europe (still, minor delays with a VISA thingy, not sure if I mentioned that in the last book or not) after six years, and I will be living in a caravan/camper with the other four people in my family, with a likely unstable internet connection and parents who if they knew I wrote fanfiction definitely would not let me. Also I'm in my last year of university, so I'll be pretty busy, but I update as often as I can.
