Fanfiction is categorised as a genre on here which is misleading. Not all fanfictions are the same. It's even in the name, FICTION of many genres made by FANS who want to see several different things from there favourite series. I know that Wattpad is a writing site abs not just a fanfiction site but that's what a lot of people use it for. Take some ideas from fanfiction.net and archive of our own abs when you select fanfiction have more boxes come up that asks what the series/thing you writing about is and what genre it is. This would also make it easier for people to define different kind of fanfiction series and specific groups genres they want to read. This may also need more options added to the search function so people can search these things but I feel that it would be better for the readers on the site.
