Duke (The Demander)

Jerry,

I look at the man in the kitchen.

He had seen me and started running at me.

It had taken me a little to notice his small black pointy ears.

One of them had a cut in it, and the other had two piercings in it.

He was a cat?

A cat hybrid?

"Next time can you not run around my house, this is my mess to pick up!" Tom speaks angrily.

I look around both cats to see a vase knocked over, it was broken into a million pieces.

I begin to apologize but the new guy gets to it first.

"Sorry, but that's a mouse, why are you hugging a mouse?" The guy asks in complete disbelief.

"This is my boyfriend," Tom puts extra emphasis on 'my'.

I begin blushing.

Did this mean we were official?

I cover my face.

"Well, Mr. Boyfriend, I'm Duke, and I'll be staying here for a little," he holds his hand out to me.

I sink behind Tom and stay there.

"Teach your mouse some manners, and make me a sandwich," Duke wanders out of the kitchen.

"He can make his own damn sandwich, are you hurt baby?" Tom holds my chin and makes me face him.

He moves my face from side to side.

"I'm okay, I just got a little spooked," I give him a smile as proof.

He stares for a little, then hugs me real tight.

He kisses my neck and I get tingles.

"Sorry I didn't tell you he was here," he whispers, "he gave me the 'cure' for when we turn to babies,"

"Oh,"

"He also said that it only lasts a couple hours max," I nod and hug him back.

"Can we stay like this for a little?"

Sorry these chapters have been so short :c, I'm very unmotivated atm if I'm being honest.

I was thinking about some longer bonus chapters though. So be ready for that.
