Chapter 4

Today was Friday. My second day at Wisconsin High School, I got to the bathroom and turn on the shower, stripping my clothes from last night off my body. It took about 5 minutes to shower, I got out and put on a bra, jeans and my pink vans. Then, I went back into the bathroom to straighten my hair, and do my makeup. I then grabbed some earrings and my book bag and went down stairs. My mom was no where which was odd, until I seen the note..
'Hi Bayls,
I guess I had to leave for my trip a little early, I'll miss you so much. Text me whenever, I left the 2000$ in the cabinet and added a little more since you'd be alone for more time.

Mum.'
Should've known. This happens so much. I ate a granola bar and checked the time, 8:30 am. I brushed my teeth and grabbed my keys, walking outside to my car. The weather was super nice today, so I rolled down some windows and played Hero by Wildcat! Wildcat! This song calmed me so much, it reminded me of summer, which was only 3 weeks away. My birthdays next week, I wonder if my parents forgot... By the time I was done thinking I was parked by the school. It was only 8:40 am. I decided to just sit there and think until someone knocked on my window. I turned my head and seen a smile that could kill the devil. You guessed it. Jack Dail. "What" I said clearly pissed off that he decided to knock on my window. "Uh I.. I wanted to know if you wanted to walk to class with me..?" He asked... Almost begged me. I nodded my head and got out of my car, locking the doors. "I'd like to get to know you better, Baylee" Jack genuinely asked. "Come to my house after school and we can get to know each other" I smiled. He gave me his number and said he'd ask his mom. We then left to class. Since he's popular he didn't really talk to me during class, but we still sat almost right next to each other.

School was finally over. I grabbed my bag and waited for Jack to finish talking to his friends. Once he finished he followed me to my car, I unlocked it and let him get in. He asked if he could play some of his music, I accepted but warned him if it's bad, I'm disconnecting it. He began playing Too Much by Drake ft. Sampha, I began singing the first few words. Then the rap began and Jack started singing it, I then joined. I really liked Drake so I new most words to his songs. This was actually one of the best car rides I've had in a while. "Don't think about it too much too much too much too muchhhh" Jack and I both screamed at a red light, receiving looks from other students who go to our school. We finally arrived at my house, I went to unlock the door. Realizing I grabbed my spare car key instead of my key chain full of all my important keys. "Follow me" I grabbed his arm and ran through the back yard. Jack almost fell in the hot tub and I couldn't help but laugh..I grabbed the key from under the 'Welcome' rug, and unlocked the back door. We sat our things on the kitchen table. "Let's swim and get to know each other!" Jack chanted, he pulled out swim trunks from his book bag and I went upstairs to change into the new bikini I got from VS. As I went outside Jack stared me up and down. "Is uh.. Is everything okay?" I asked slightly insecure. "You're beautiful" Jack whispered, I didn't say say. I just blushed and got in the pool.
"So Baylee, tell me about yourself." Jack demanded
"Well my names Baylee, Baylee Tkuczuk. I like tacos and Chinese food, I play basketball, volleyball and soccer. I don't really penny board a lot but I'm told I'm good. I'm 17, turn 18 in 6 days, my parents are never home. Such as right now. I'll be alone for about 3 months. I like YouTube, Vine, and stuff. I'm a goody goody, but hear I'm good with relationships and things, I moved here because my dad got offered a better job. My favorite colors are light pink and light blue. Tell me about you now" I smiled
"I'm Jack Dail. I like penny boarding. I've had a history with girls, but they all wanted me. I think I'm attracted to you because you want nothing to do with me, my favorite color is red, I also like tacos and those watermelon candies. I'm popular. I love Vine, that's where I became popular. Yeah" he ended awkwardly. I swam over to him and dunked him under water. He swam over to me and dunked me back. When I came up I couldn't find him anywheres. Until I found a pair of arms wrap around my waist. His head rested on top of mine since he was a bit taller than me. I heard music playing on the radio. When I Look At You by Miley Cyrus came on. Perfect timing eh. Jack began humming the words. I could stay like this forever, I felt safe in his arms. "You never texted me" Jack whispered. I turned around and gave him a sarcastic dirty look, he just chuckled. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist, it was like slow dancing but my feet weren't on the ground. Jack titled my head up and leaned in, I did as well. As our lips connected I felt spar... Fireworks. I pulled away and looked at him. "Did you feel that?" Jack asked shocked. All I could do was nod, a few seconds later my belly grumbled. "Hungry babe?" Jack chuckled, I nodded and we went inside and ordered pizza. I grabbed blankets and Jack asked to stay the night. After the pizza came we went on Netflix

After a few movies it was 8 pm. We were bored so we decided to go for a drive. I drove of course, if he ever wrecked my car I'd be in shit. We drove around, went to a few stores for junk food and came back to my house.
