On nights you were left with nothing better to do, you enjoyed nothing but going to the tavern for a drink. The alcohol tasted rather fine, and the atmosphere was always more than pleasant.

Entering the tavern, the sweet aroma of dandelion wine couldn't help but make it's way to your nose. Voices of drunkards flooded the inside, but not any negativity was being passed around. Everyone was happy, which put your stressed mind at ease. Though a tavern is the least expected place for one to feel relaxed, it surely had the opposite effect on you. You saw many familiar faces and to your surprise, a few regulars you'd usually see weren't there for a first.

Once you saw that long, blue hair that was relativity known to you, you instantly knew that this night was in for a treat. You also saw the Captain's brother, Diluc, drying freshly washed glasses behind the bar. He was clearly annoyed with Kaeya's presence, but the blue-eyed man did nothing but laugh it off.

"Well hello honorary knight, I didn't expect to see you here at this hour." He proclaimed, glancing at you from the side, while he smiled into his sip of what smelled like beer. You climbed onto the stool next to him, flashing him a smile as a warm hello.

You held your cheek with your hand, as your arm sat on the bar counter, supporting the weight of your head while you listened to the bard, Venti, play music on his lyre. You almost zoned out until Diluc asked what you'd like to drink.

"The usual, if you will." You replied as if you were a regular, though every time you came to the tavern you ordered the same exact thing; a Berry & Mint burst with a shot of Tequila. You watched as Diluc mixed the drink and set it in front of you, the glass making a clanking noise when in contact with the counter. Kaeya held his tankard up in the air, to which you raised yours to a toast.

"Where's your drinking buddy at tonight?" You had asked after taking a sip of your drink, while Kaeya nearly chugged all his. He showed his delight in his drink by letting out a refreshing sigh once he decided to come up for air. Kaeya slammed his half-empty tankard onto the table, then crossed his arms.

"Rosaria I assume you mean? Unfortunately, she had pressing matters to attend to at the cathedral. But at least I have you to accompany me." Kaeya subtly gratified you in his regular smooth-talking tone of voice. You hummed a high-pitched intonation to his answer.

The chatter began to progressively grow louder as more people entered the tavern and started drinking, therefore Kaeya scooted his stool closer to you so he could hear you clearly in the conversation the two of you were sharing.

Throughout the night, it seemed like the more Kaeya drank, the more touchy he got with you. Yet you ignored it because you assumed he was drunk. It started with him slinging his arm around you which wasn't all that bad, but then he started to squeeze your thigh and subtly trace your sex with his finger through your pants.

"Hey y/n? Mind if we chat in private?" the Captain said, trying not to slur his words. You agreed, and stood up from your stool, as did he. Kaeya placed his hand on your lower back, guiding you to the stairs. You tried not to trip over steps going up, for you had more than a few drinks yourself. There was only one person upstairs- a knight who was sulking around, drinking by himself. Kaeya issued him to leave the second floor, and him being the Captain, the knight complied.

You walked over to the railing, resting your forearms on it. You looked down over the bar, though your hands somewhat covered the view, yet you didn't bother moving them. Kaeya stood next to you, leaning on the railing as well, but with a drink in hand.
