THE DISTANT SOUND OF PIGS SQUEALING GREW AS WE WALKED CLOSER TO THE PEN. Emily, Derek and I shined our flashlights to see a bunch of dirty pigs. All of the sudden, we heard screaming.

"Did you hear that?" Emily let out.

"I did." I nodded.

"What?" Derek asked.

"Was that a scream?" Emily asked.

We shined our light all around us but it was so faint we couldn't even tell which direction it came from. It didn't help we were in the middle of nowhere surrounded by woods. I hate the woods. It messes with sound.

We walked around the area a little more to find a large wood dumpster.

"What's this thing?" Derek asked as he shined the light on it.

"I don't know as much about pig farms as you might think." I let out sarcastically.

"Guys, there's a hand print. That looks like blood." Derek let out. We lifted the lid to see something absolutely horrifying.

It's full of nothing but bloody shoes.

Derek went to get Hotch while Emily and I just stared at it. These have to be all the shoes of the victims. All different sizes. All male and female. This is way over 10 missing. It has to be well over 100 pairs of shoes in there. It was filled to the brim.

Everyone came marching out to it. They're faces matched ours when they saw it. Horror.

"These are...they belong to victims?" Jeff asked.

"Possibly." Emily let out.

"Why just the shoes? Where are they bodies?"

That was the other thing.

"I don't think there's going to be any bodies, guys. Pigs are omnivores. They'll eat anything. By anything, I mean...anything." Spencer huffed.

I was beside myself. I had no words.

This man fed the victims to the pigs and then threw out their shoes.

Emily went to talk to William and the rest of us stood and talked. Every cop in Ontario was currently on their way.

"You find anyone in that house?" I asked.

"Mason Turner."

"Is he in custody?" Derek asked.

"Uh, not exactly." Hotch answered.

"But he's not going anywhere." Rossi let out. What?

"He's quadriplegic." Hotch said.

"Paralyzed from the neck down. JJ's in there with him right now." Spencer finished.

"That's a pretty good criminal defense." Derek muttered. I'd say. Guys' bed ridden for life. He didn't do this.
