Your brain ran nonstop the whole time, when Todoroki came home, you struggled to even look him in the eyes without softly blushing. You always knew you were into guys, you realized this when you were in the fourth grade and had a crush on the popular boy of that year. Though after losing interest in that boy, no one else seemed to appeal to you until now, and never liked someone as much as Todoroki.

You tried your best to find something about him that would make you interest. Though it was inevitable, you couldn't help but fall in love with his flaws too. You panicked and avoided Todoroki as much as possible, after a week of that. Todoroki decided to confront you, he liked talking to you and was worried he did something wrong.

"Kai, are you mad at me..?" He asked, his voice soft and somewhat shaky, "did I do something, was it because I left to see my mom without letting you know ahead of time?." He inhaled and exhaled, "or is it something else?"

You looked at him in shock, you were doing the same thing that he did to you by unintentionally making it look like you hate the other, "what no you didn't do anything, I'm not mad!" You countered, concerned.

He looked at you, clearly not believing your response, "Then why are you avoiding me?" He frowned.

"Well, that - umm...- I would rather not talk about it.." You replied, flustered.

"If you don't have a reason then you see mad at me." He looked down, "please I'm sorry for whatever I did, can I make it up to you..?

He looked back up at you, teary-eyed. He couldn't handle losing you too.

"Todoroki, that isn't it at all! I just realized that I...um...how do I say this without frightening or upsetting you..." You said, trying to desperately think a way around this dilemma though there was no avoiding it, Todoroki deserved to know.

"ⁱ ʲᵘˢᵗ ʳᵉᵃˡⁱᶻᵉᵈ ⁱ ˡⁱᵏᵉ ʸᵒᵘ... ʷᵉˡˡ ᵐᵒʳᵉ ˡⁱᵏᵉ ˡᵒᵛᵉ ʸᵒᵘ." You muttered, face beet red.

"What?"

"I uh... I like you." You answered not able to meet his eyes.

"I like you too!"

"What"

"Yea, you're a great friend."

"Todoroki, that isn't what I meant."

He gave you a troubled look. You deadpanned, how did you manage to fall for the most oblivious person in UA.

"I love you."

Todoroki hesitated for a moment, processing what that meant. Before a shade of rosy red. His whole face heated.

"A-as in love l-l-like a partner?!" He said.

You softly nodded, just as red.

"I l-love you too.."

You hastily looked up to him, now it was his turn to avoid eye contact.

You smiled and approached him, inching closer.

So close you could smell his Cologne.
