Y/n POV
Tsukishima, Kageyama, Tadashi, Tanaka and I make our way to they Seijoh gym. We are in front of the others.
I walk beside Tsukishima and Tadashi near the back of the group and we hear two boys trash talking the team. We turn the corner.
"Don't mock my team bruh, we'll have your heads." Tanaka smirks.
"Now, now, don't be so harsh Tanaka. We'll just crush them on the court. Where it really maters." Tsukishima says and for once I am happy about how snarky and to the point he is.
The two boys remain speechless as they stare at us. And then their eyes turn towards me.
"Are you the manager?" The one with the spiker hair asks. I nod and step forward. Bringing my hand up for a handshake.
"One of them. I'm Y/n Sugawara. First year."
"Y-Yutaro Kindaichi first year too. Can, can I maybe get your number?" He grabs my hand, his face a little pink. I shake my head and don't answer with words.
"And I'm Shigeru Yahaba. Do you want my number?" The other butts in with a smirk.
"And y'know for someone who hasn't seen us play you two can be oh so cocky." I shake the onion heads hand as the blond one blushes at my forwardness. "Ignorance and cockiness are not a good mix." I shrug my shoulders, dropping the onion heads hand.
Tsukishima walks up to me and puts a hand on my shoulder. Pulling me back slightly.
"Oh don't entertain them Y/n. They're obviously ass wholes." Tsukishima says and pulls me again so my backs touching the right side of his body. I turn my head up to look at Tsukishima but he just glares at Kindaichi-san.
As the two continue to do what they are doing, Kindaichi-san's eyes glance over to me again. I guess Tsukishima notices because he holds my shoulder a little tighter.
The two stare off before we hear Dai-chan shriek.
"Hey stop starting fights with the other team!" Dai-chan grabs Tanaka and forces him to bow.
"We're sorry about them." Dai-chan says and he and Tanaka get into a little spat.
I turn my head to Tsukishima in a questioning matter, but there he is. Still glaring at Kindaichi-san.
"Erm? Tsukishima, are you okay?" I ask. Tsukishima looks back at me. His eyes widen and he lets go.
"Sorry." Her murmurs. I give him a reassuring smile.
"It's fine." I say. I turn back to Kindaichi-san and Yahaba-san.
"I guess we'll make our way back to the gym. See you on the court!" I say and I begin walking off with our group.
"W-Wait! Kageyama, I hope you aren't beating your royal subjects into shape so soon. King of the court." Onion top says and I feel myself wince. Knowing Kageyama hates that nickname.
"You little b-"
"Uh huh." Kageyama cuts me and Tanaka off.
