THE NEXT DAY

Olivia walked out of her dads room seeing jordan and spencer sitting in the waiting room
olivia: jordan?!
jordan looked up from his phone running to olivia
Jordan: oh liv, i'm so glad your ok. how's dad?
Olivia: still hasn't woke up, do you wanna see him
Jordan shook his head smiling

Olivia and Jordan walked to the room seeing an awake billy baker
Olivia: dad she screamed running to him to hug her dad softly
Jordan went to the other side of the bed rubbing his dads shoulder
Billy: I love you too so much he got out
Olivia and Jordan: we love you too dad
Jordan: so how you feeling he sat down
Billy: better. still very sore though
Olivia: doctor says your gonna be sore for a while dad, maybe forever
Billy closed his eyes
Billy: i'm sorry you guys, i would of told you everything already
Jordan: we'll why didn't you
Billy: i couldn't, just because of this reason
olivia: i need to see mom
billy: olivia no i do not want you with her she dangerous
Jordan: yeah liv mom isn't a baker anymore ok let's just leave her in the past
Olivia: i'm sorry but i can't do that
Billy: sweetie
Olivia: look dad just stop suger coating it and tell us what happened between you two
Billy sits up a little grunting
Billy: the reason I left was because your mom cheated on me with..ashers dad
olivia and Jordan look at each other in shock
Billy: it went on for a couple months till she found out she was pregnant. She took a dna test because she really didn't want you guys to be mine but turns out you were. I was so excited to start a family with her. I thought laura was the love of my life. Till she told me i couldn't be apart of the family.
Jordan: but why?
billy: let me finish
Billy: She said that she didn't want a bad influence in the house. Cause people like me only get into trouble.
Olivia: mom didn't want you apart of the family because your... black
Billy: pretty much
Jordan: she did know her kids were gonna come out half black right
Billy: truth is she was planning on having an abortion till Harold stepped in and said he would help her with the kids.
Billy: he ended up leaving her alone to raise you two, i offered to help multiple time but nothing.
Jordan: wait, does asher know
Billy tilted his head down
Billy: yeah, it one of the reasons his mom left
Jordan: asher knew this whole time
Jordan looked at olivia who had tears in her eyes
Jordan's blood boiled cause him to storm out the room
Olivia: dad i'm sorry, is there more
Billy: we'll i'm sorry innocent as i seem
olivia narrowed her eyebrows
Olivia: what do you mean
Billy: Laura thought I cheated on her. after i tore a ALC i pushed laura away, a part of my thought it was her fault. But grace was always there to comfort me, it was nice ya know she always knew what to say and how to say it. laura saw us hugging thought it was something more considering our history and she freaking leading her to Harold I guess. So honestly i respected her wishes because i blamed myself for alway soushibg her way when she was only trying to help.
Olivia: but I don't get it, mom loved you how'd she become racist over night
Billy: I think it was Harold.
Olivia: your saying he turned her racist
Billy: that man has always hated black people I guess laura just decided to join the club
Olivia: dad I cant live with her, shes a monster
Billy smiled bright
Olivia: can i move in with you, i'm so sick of beverly and there bougie designer bullshit
Billy laughed at his daughter
Olivia: maybe i could even transfer she smiled
Billy made a thinking face
Billy: i'm gonna go with... yes!
Olivia screaming hugging her dad
Olivia: thank you
Billy: I cant wait to know you baby
