"Hey... hey get off!"

The sound of Damian's annoyed voice pulled Raven abruptly out of her slumber. Her eyes opened and scanned her surroundings, and she quickly realized why he was upset. Her body was slumped against his, and her arm was crossed over his torso.

"Sorry," Raven quickly apologized and raised up, her face a deep shade of red.

"I just got molested by an old woman," Damian groaned as he sat up from the spot.

"Old?" Raven exclaimed, then let out a nasty cough. "I'm only three years older than you!"

"Old," Damian repeated before stretching out his sore limbs. "Looks like you've got a majority of your voice back. However that doesn't mean you're fully healed."

Raven scoffed before leaning against the wall. "I'll live."

Damian stood up from his spot and brushed the sand from his pants. "I'm gonna go find us some food. I'll be back."

"What happened to not leaving me alone?" Raven retorted, weakly crossing her arms over her chest.

"Tt," Damian sounded as he turned his back to her. "You're in no condition to hunt. Stay here."

"Hmph," Raven hummed as she watched him leave.

The sound of footsteps relieved Raven. Damian had been gone for hours, and boredom was slowly killing her. "Finally. I was beginning to think you would never-"

"You must be Raven."

The sound of a cheery feminine voice caught Raven by surprise, and her eyes widened at the sight of a tall woman approaching from behind her. Once she stepped into the light, Raven could make out long and curly fiery red hair, and vibrant green eyes that peered at her eagerly.

"Who are you?" Raven questioned, backing up against the wall as much as physically possible. She wasn't in the position to fight right now, but the woman standing in front of her didn't seem to pose a threat.

"I'm Kory," the woman introduced as she bent down to meet Raven's gaze. "Most call me Starfire."

Raven blinked, taking in the girls appearance. She looked as if she didn't belong on this planet. "How do you know my name?"

The woman smiled, which eased Raven's nerves. "Your crew-mates are aboard our ship. They have been looking for you since your ship was attacked."

Her eyes widened at the information. This woman was a pirate?

"Get away from her."

Both women turned their head to meet an annoyed Damian, a bloody dagger in his hands. Behind him was a deer carcass.

"I'm here to help-" Kory tried to explain, but was interrupted.

"I know who you are," Damian said, narrowing his eye toward her. "Outlaw."

Kory's expression fell at his words. "We are here to help, sincerely."

Damian eyed her for a moment, and before he could answer her, the sound of a gun clacking gained everyone's attention.

"Is there a problem here?"

Raven glanced up to see a man standing behind her, and a shiver ran down her spine. His hair was dark with a white stripe in the front, and his eyes were a light shade of blue. Compared to Damian, this man was dressed like a real pirate. Golden jewelry lined his neck and wrists, and his attire was clearly of a captain's, hence the hat on top of his head.
