As a child, i grew up in a small house on the edge of Morristown, a quiet little street with friendly neighbors, no crime, just seemed like the most perfect town you could ever imagine, right?
My dad was a hard working man, coming from a hard working loving family, and as for my mother, coming from abuse by her parents and even spent half of her life in foster homes that werent so nice. Mom was 17 when she met Dad, and Dad was 19. My mom fell inlove with my dad, absolutely head over heels as Tears for Fears would say.
Anyway, They went to school together but never really met until Dad graduated. Mom however was still in school, living with her mean foster parents who never really gave her much freedom at all. When Dad would come to see her , shed always say " lets go out" just to get away. He always complied simply because well, he didnt like them anyways.
They went on many dates, dad would hold my moms hand , would help her in and out of his car, such a gentleman. He had shown her off all the time, his " lucky girl" his missing puzzle piece, he had found it all along.
