HEARTBROKEN: Percy Jackson and The Heartbroken Demigod

Chapter 20

A/n - ok , so this chapter will include torture but i will put all torture in bold so if you want you can skip it but make sure you read the rest of the chapter because it is important . 

Percy POV 

When I woke up , I guessed by the time the guards brought us food , that it was morning ? It was cold porridge with black bread which we all agreed to leave . However small bob and the drakon seemed to enjoy it . It was about half an hour when a pair of guards came to collect me for some reason . Perhaps Orion wants to talk again ? 

When we went there it was clear Orion did not want to talk or kiss. In the centre of the now luminous cavern was a black chair with wires and cuffs circling the chair , it was clear it was an electric chair and in front of the chair was a blank screen . Maybe he wanted to watch a movie ? I think a part of my old self is coming back . He pushes me down into the cahir and the cuffs immediately snap shut , he strokes my cheek , grins and turns on the screen which shows camp half-blood . i now realise he is going to torture me with electricity and show me my friends dying . 

He turned on the electricity to minimum power which would zap every minute with non stop zaps which made me grit my teeth and he showed me the first person : Nico di angelo . Every hour he would crank it up a little and show me a new person and after about 2 hours I was screaming in agony . I didn't beg because I owed my dead friends.  

He continued this operation for about a week and every morning the guards would collect me and Orion would start from the begining with the electricity and show me new people . Until eventually he gave up and so I got a week of peace .

Then one afternoon the guards came to collect me and it was clear we were not going to the cavern . Where are we going ? I thought . They led me to another dark and grimy prison , there was someone in there . The guards locked the door after they shoved me in . Then the occupant turned to me . I was shocked and in unison we gasped . I saw someone who I thought I would never see again. 

It was Luke Castellan . He ran towards me and hugged me . He didn't look so good , his sandy hair was messed up and had streaks of grey as if he had to take the weight of the sky again , trust me we know what it’s like . so to all those mortals who think your lives are hard and that you have to carry the weight of the world .... you’re wrong , welcome to my life and you’re welcome for the islands that i pull from the sea . i’m a demigod, lol  sorry i had to do that cringe moment over ( perhaps i should put that in bold lol ) .

Now back to poor luke , his body was beaten and bruised but still muscular , his eyes were the same but not cruel or gold but a lovely blue , sparkling , but he was still handsome . he says 

“ hey perce how have you been ? want to tell me what’s been going on ? “ 

I instantly start to tell him how i was gay , how i had liked him , what had happened after the titan war , the war with gaia and how much i had missed him . Once I was finished he did something that surprised me . He kissed  me. He actually kissed me and I kissed back. Once we pulled back he said . 

“ Wow ,I've wanted to do that for a while , I just never know how to come out, especially since we are supposed to be enemies . I also feel bad about betraying,rejecting and cursing you !” 

I feel so happy and confused at the same time. I like Luke but I also like Nico and Will . Why is life so confusing ? The guards came back and took me and Luke back to my cell. I knew we would need to come up with an escape plan soon …
