I looked around and everyone was looking at me. ,, Brielle dear, what was Mother Miranda talking about?" Lady Dimitrescu asked and looked at me with confusion on her face. I was confused too. Even though I know that my mother worked for her i never really understood und knew the relationship they both had. I shrugged my shoulders and looked around. ,, To be honest I don't know either. My Mother alway told me about Mother Miranda. How beautiful she is and that she is really intelligent and all. The other villagers hated me and my mom because we got favored by the goddess herself. My mom would always get small gifts like a new bed after the old one broke or sometimes just beautiful flowers. I don't really know much more though. I'm sorry." I looked down at my fingers and I started fidgeting. What if they think I'm a spy send from Mother Miranda? I hope Donna doesn't think so. That would really ruin everything between us. With a side glance at Donna I saw her sitting next to me with her hands in her lab and her body tensed. I still can feel al eyes on me and I couldn't take it anymore. I stood up, excused myself and got out of the dining room. I walk through the hallways and got into the lift that took me up to the top of the castle. Up here the wind blew across my face and the cold sting was a welcoming sensation. I walked further ahead and up to the bell tower. Sitting down on a bench I looked over the beautiful scenery that was infront of me. My thoughts were all over the place. Will Donna want another maid? What did I get myself into. I was so in my thoughts that I didn't see a figure standing next to me. ,, Are you ok Brielle? You left so fast after Mother Miranda left." Jumping in the air I looked to my right and saw Lady Dimitrescu standing next to me. How did I not saw her? I looked down again and mumbled to her: ,, I thought you all wouldn't want me there anymore... I thought Donna wouldn't want me there." As you were looking down you didn't saw the knowing look on Lady Dimitrescu's face. She knows that you like her sister Donna. ,, We are all really glad to have you. I for one am glad to have you as a maid.
