Many days passed since I had last seen David. The headache had finally disappeared and my body was much more healthy. I went through my days wandering around the city, sleeping and reading some interesting books I took from the library. But truth be told, I was starting to worry about David.

"Just where could he be?" I wondered as I flipped another page of my book. My eyes stealing glances over the window.

I let out a sigh and let the book beside me on the bed. I got up and decided to walk downstairs. I saw the piles of plates from our lunch and decided to clean them up.

"I need to distract myself..."

For the rest of the day, I would distract myself with any chore that I would see around the house. I didn't had much do to, but it was better than nothing. The thoughts of mine and David's last meeting still stuck in my head, especially the strange thing that happened on the castle. I couldn't quite get it, but I assumed that it was one of the symptoms of my suffering before loosing my memories.

I sat down on the couch in the living room and gazed outside of the window. My eyes wandering towards the far and distant forest.

"Honey, is everything alright?" I heard my mother's worried voice and a small frown become plastered on my face. Both of my parents didn't question much but it seemed like they were really worried about me. I could see it in their eyes.

"They are too kind and considerate of me..."

"Yeah, don't worry. I'm completely fine."

"I don't want to make them worry..."

Silence followed for a short period of time and my mother finally let her thoughts escape her lips.

"You miss him, don't you?"

My eyes widened in shock but I still refused to turn and look at her. No words coming out of my mouth.

"I know that she does," commented my father with a faint laugh and my eyes narrowed.

"As if I would miss him...," I mumbled.

"Is that so?" I flinched at David's sudden voice and I turned to see him sitting beside me on the couch resting his chin on the palm of his left hand. Eyes narrowed and a teasing smirk plastered on his face, "Well... I missed you."

At that, I became even more flustered and punched him on the shoulder, his smirk never wavering. My face in the other hand feeling as hot as ever.

"Y-you really need to stop appearing out of nowhere! You are going to give me a heart attack!" I exclaimed and David gave me a lighthearted chuckle.

"I thought you were used to it by now."

"W-well I'm not!"

"Well well, what do we have here~ Long time no see David~" greeted my mother and my father gave him a knowledgeable nod.

"It's a pleasure to see you both again," replied David to my parents with his polite smile.

"You shouldn't disappear for so many days young man. My daughter was feeling restless because of you," scolded jokingly my father and I immediately protested. A little too quickly to be honest.

"I wasn't feeling restless! It's not like I cared where he was. I-I was just a little worried as his friend!" I exclaimed and David's eyes narrowed like a fox, his sly smirk clearly visible on his face.

"I deeply apologize. I shouldn't had left my prescious Sarah in her loneliness," he said getting up from the couch and giving my parents a respectful bow.
