"Umm well he was underweight so he's in the NICU" my pa said

"It's going to be alright you wanna know what else happened they found another baby it was a baby girl" he said

"But she's also in the NICU but she has a chance of survival" he said

I pulled up to the hospital and got out
"Hello who are you here to see" the front desk lady asked me
"Asia Martin" I said
"Oh room 408 maternity floor" she said handing me the visitor tag
I went to the elevator pressing 4M
I arrived to her floor and went to room 408
"Where my babies at did you name them yet" I asked her
"Uh dad can you give us some time" she asked her pops
"Yeah I have to pick up your mother from the airport anyways sweetheart" he said then kissed her forehead
"Asia where my kids" I asked her
She put her head down and started picking her fingers
"W-well they they umm well they in the NICU be-because I was under stress and wasn't eating right the past few months so they umm underweight and could possibly not make it" she said crying her eyes out I mean ugly crying and all
"Damn how tf you forget to eat huh that's basic human shit" I yelled at her
" I'm -im sorry" she said hiccuping
"Yeah you a sorry motherfucker all right if my kids die imma kick your ass" I told her walking her.

I cried after he walked out I know that was going to happen
After he left the nurse came in
"Hey momma" she said walking in
"Hi" I said wiping my eyes
"Well good news your baby boy can come home he's 6 pound and 8 oz still small but he can come home but your baby girl has to stay she is only 4 pounds and 2 oz" she said looking at me
I felt numb a little
"Okay" I said
"Also here's there birth certificate so you can name them and you and the dad can sign you guys name" she said
"Umm unfortunately the father had left so it only be me" I said
"That's okay I'll be back in 15 minutes with your baby boy so we can do the foot stamp" she said walking out
I thought of names to name my babies and I decided for the girl
