Today was Prosper funeral I still couldn't breathe after 3 days they was burying her.
I looked at my kids cause Alayshea been taking care of them ever since they came out the hospital I couldn't bring myself to look at them anymore.
"Hey daddy babies Riyah you look just like your momma" I said looking at her seeing she had more of Prosper features
I really miss her ass
I picked of each of there car seat with they heavy asses in them and strapped them into the seats they really don't cry much all they do is stare into nothing just stare
"Some weird ass kids we got huh" Jay said
"Weird ones indeed" I said looking in the rear view window .
"I pulled up to the church and got the kids out and put them in the 3 car seat stroller I prolly look like a single dad
"You are" Jay said
"No I'm not prosper will forever be my wife" I said
"Hey Jaylen how you holding up" Zion asked me
"I'm fine just still hurting but fine" I said
"That's good bro, look at these fat ass kids" Toosii said pinching Xzayvion cheeks making Zay bite him
"Fuckin demon spawn" He said wiping the spit off his finger
"Don't call my kids no demons" I said
Pushing them into the church we all found our seats which was by Prosper momma, Dad, and Alayshea
"You okay" they asked me
"Just numb" was all I said looking at my kids with her
I looked up at the picture they had of her
"Y'all momma so damn pretty" I whispered to them
Wiping a tear that fell out my eye I put my shades on so no one could tell
"Let's begin" the preachers said
"Life is a gift from God. Our children, family, friends, neighbors, and strangers are all gifts to be savored. Although some days may be full of hardship and sadness, each breath, heartbeat, and thought illustrates the beautiful gift of life. Keep Prosper's memories alive and thank God for the blessings in your past, present, and future. Now we have a speech from her Husband Jaylen" he said
I got up and shook his hand looking at all these people she wouldn't even want here
"Prosper was my wife my world we planned slot together and it's sad we didn't get a chance to even accomplish. There's promise and beauty in so many things if we are open to it. Even through the darkest moments, if we try and see the light, there is promise in this as well. We will forever love prosper and I will forever be with her" I said walking away wiping tears I walked out the church hyperventilating
"Breathe baby breathe" I heard a voice like prosper but it couldn't be prosper
"Prosper" i said looking up at the sky
"It's me baby just breathe" she said patting my back
"Stay strong for me okay take care of my kids" she said then disappear
"Nooooo come back please, please prosper I can't breathe without you please" I said crying
"Come on dawg" Zion said hugging me
"I can't breathe without her dawg I just can't" I said
"It's okay it's going to take time to get over but it's okay" he said
"Ask Lay can she take my kids, I got to get away for awhile" I said
"Yeah it's whatever do what you need" he said
I walked to my car getting driving to the house me and prosper built in silence we was gon move in once we both got right
"Baby we didn't make but imma live for you" I said
