Sebastian was a good kid growing up.
The best of grades, a participant, team player and so on.
He had spent most of his childhood with his father, having divorced parents that lived in distant countries didn't play in his favor when it came to building a relationship with his mother.
It never much flourished to its potential especially since she lived in Italy for most of his youth.
Though it wasn't just him and his parents, he also had a half-sister from his mother's side just about a year older than him.
Sebastian had potential, a man of wisdom when it came to business, one to follow in his father's footsteps and be greater than his dad ever was.
He wasn't moving up positions in his father's company for no reason, nepotism had nothing to do with it, he was a hard worker.
He could say many of his relationships came to their final destination due to his time investment, it was mostly all put into the company.
Nevertheless he was young, he needed to take advantage of it all now.
But Capri.
Capri had been a young woman who had captured his attention.
Beautiful, independent, smart, he could see himself settling down with her.
It was something that he decided upon not too long ago as his intentions were others from the start, his sister would have his head if she knew how much he was now willing to saturate.
He would just have to continue lying to Marcella.

"Have you spoken to your brother again"?
Mateo shook his head as he polished his collection of weapons in his office, Tony sitting across from him as he scrolled through his phone.
"I've called but I'm pretty sure my father isn't letting any of my calls go through ".
"How do you feel"?
"We talk about our feelings now"?
"Hey man, sometimes it's good, I do it with Tatiana, don't you do it with Capri"?
Mateo stilled at his question, earning a chuckle from Tony.
"Are you just gonna tip toe around the topic or what"?
He cleared his throat, continuing his previous task.
"I know I love her and I know I have to leave Marcella".
Tony let out a heavy breath before laughing obnoxiously.
"Good luck with that".
They both knew Marcella would try to kill Capri if she knew about her existence in Mateo's life.
They stayed in silence, Mateo thinking back to the day he rescued his brother.
"Carlo was gonna kill himself if I hadn't walked in on time Tony".
His right hand looked up at him through hooded eyes as his thumbs stalled their movements.
"The gun went off right when I took it out of his hands".
Tony furrowed his eyebrows.
"I have a question Mateo, Carlo was dragged out of the room we were in, yet you found him by himself and with a gun to his head, you think they left him alone with a weapon hoping he'd kill himself"?
Mateo nodded slowly.
"They would've enjoyed knowing I watched my brother kill himself, a way to honor their boss, Fernando".
Tony stayed silent, taking in his words as he tried to make sense of it, he for some reason felt unsure.
"Yea".

Franco Mateo was making his way down the hall towards his son's bedroom, he had taken the food from the maid as he wanted to feed his son, the only one he loved.
He knocked, opening the door slowly as he smiled at Carlo who was laying in bed, arms and legs wrapped in cloth.
His bruises had been treated and his cuts as well, he looked much better.
"Feeling better"?
Carlo nodded.
"I've brought you your food, you need to eat to recover quicker".
"Grazie".
Franco fed his son slowly, giving him small spoonfuls as he chew away.
Carlo eyed him through hooded eyes, watching his movements and the small smile plastered on his face as he took care of him without a second thought.
Carlo had endured pain, agony and humiliation.
It was a rough five years and he had vowed many things to himself when the day came for his release.
The only thing that mattered now was recovering to accomplish his self promises.

" I just realized Mateo just comes all the way over from Italy to talk to you and fuck you".
Capri side eyed Axel.
"He must really love you".
"You're shipping the wrong couple, it should be Sebastian and I not mateo and I".
Axel shrugged.
"I have a thing for toxic relationships".
They laughed in unison.
Capri and Axel had gone out shopping, she had closed down the shop for her two hour lunch, walking around the city of Madrid with her best friend in tow.
"I just realized you've been here for over a month, when are you going back to America"?
"Not sure". Axel mumbled.
Capri looked at him like he had two heads.
"What does that mean, your life is over there".
"Is it though"?
She stared at him as they strolled down the sidewalk, Axel keeping his gaze down as he kicked his feet with each step.
"I have everything here Capri, you".
Axel reached for her hand giving it a small peck before grinning.
"I've decided to stay in Spain, I can help you with your shop or get another job and just be happy, would it bother you"?
She shook her head enthusiastically.
"Never, you're my best friend, nothing better than having you close to me, especially with all the chaos in my life, you bring me peace".
He hugged her tightly, causing her to trip as they both laughed.
She wanted to feel like this everyday, without the black vehicle driving a few feet away.
Though Capri was grateful for the protection, she didn't know if she could live like this forever.
She'd really be on the spot if her relationship with Mateo became official.
