A Escape room (2019) Oc x Ben

The day that changed my life. There were two events that changed my life see the first event that occurred happened not to long back I was at a party my best friend Ben and some others, but I decided to stay back.
"Hey Loren, are you coming?" Ben said whilst picking up the keys to the car "Nah... I will stay back a bit since there aint going to be no space in the car specially with big head Steve in there ahah. Am I right?" I said with a slight chuckle. "Well, you keep safe then also bring some leftovers back to mine and you can crash with us, yeh?" Little did he know that I was not the only thing that was going to crash that night....
Even if I went with him, I would be in a similar situation. You see Ben and the others crashed on the highway back and he was the sole survivor...just like me, I survived the Northglen massacre. Search it up if you don't belive me. We were all drugged and shot...Like Ben I was the sole survivor.
The second event happened one day as I was at the Northglen Drag Bar, since that was where I worked. Just as I was locking up when my boss walking up to me.
"Here Loren, I got you a gift to thank you for being the best employee here...But were sorry, we have to let you go due to budget cuts" He said with fake sorrow in his voice "bullshit" I whispered and pick up the stupid box and walked out of the bar. I headed straight to the grocery store ben works in... well hes the stocker boy hes not allowed out front yet but hes working to it, I believe him.
"Hey Lo... hey hey hey wait whats wrong?" He said concerned but at the beginning he seemed pissed huh wonder what happened he must have had a shitty day too. "They fucking let me go!" I said mad as I worked at that bar for 5 years which was the longest, I have ever held a job. Ben stood up and walked round to me he goes to hug me, but he sees the box im my hand "You got one too?" he asks in shock. He pointed to the identical box on the work top.
We stayed up for hours trying to open the stupid box and when we finally opened it we picked up the card In the box and it read out loud togther, it was an invite to some sort of escape room thing.
"You going to go?" Ben asked as he took his eyes of the paper and looked at me "Yeh I guess, as long as you go though" and that settled it we decied to go but now I wish I would have said no and saved both of us from the torture that laid before us.
