Horizon had his headphones on while wandering around the town over from Wire Topia. After a few minutes, he was in the woods that parted the two towns from each other when suddenly something hit. He threw off his headphones and dropped against a tree. He didn't know if he would be safe. All of a sudden all of the noises and rumbling stopped. Horizon stood up and threw on his hood, he wasn't too worried about what happened so he began to head back into Wire Topia. Randomly small pieces of rock and other things began to rain down and hit him. He kept walking, trying to ignore it, if it got too bad he would hide again. After a few minutes of walking, he came across a destroyed house with a discarded tin trashcan lid outside, he didn't look into the house just grabbed the lid and put it over his head. He kept walking to Devi Gate, which was one of the main neighborhoods in Wire Topia. He figured that if that house was destroyed that then the neighborhood would also be destroyed. He entered through the destroyed fence that surrounded the neighborhood to prevent intruders or outsiders. He shoved one of his hands in his pocket and grabbed his Communication Device. He stared at it for a while before putting it back in its place.
Horizon stopped for a minute and noticed the rubble stopped pouring from the sky, he set down the tin lid not wanting it to be loud if there were people still who survived. He continued to walk and entered a house with a crippled door. Almost directly in the center of the living room, an electric fire had started from the tv. He didn't see any people so he headed to the back corner of the room avoiding the fire. Suddenly his Comm beeped over and over again.CS: Is anyone still here?
HM: I'm looking for others.
CS: Are you in my town?
HM: If we both just witnessed our town explode then yes.
CS: We need to find others.
EA: I'm here.
CS: Where are you?
EA: Town Centre
HM: I'm by the neighborhoods.
CS: I'm by the clock tower.
HM: Got it.
EA: Got it.
He put his Comm away and started to walk out of the building when he heard a whimpering. He crinkled his eyebrow and turned around examining the fallen house. He looked in the corner to see a puppy. He looked around more before heading towards it, his head began to race with thoughts.
"What if it's a trap, what if people are already fighting for themselves?"
He grabbed a piece of scrap glass that was lying underneath his foot and began to walk towards the pup. Before grabbing the dog, he looked up the stairs to see if anyone could take it instead, no luck. He picked up the small dog and dropped the glass. He wiped the rubble and dust off of it and slung his backpack off his shoulder. He slowly placed the pup inside and zipped up the bag leaving enough room for it to breathe. Horizon slowly put the bag back onto his shoulders and walked out of the building. He pulled out his Comm to make sure he knew where to go. Clock Tower in the middle of Town Centre. Got it. Before he could put it away a message flashed his screen.EA: Do any of you know how to dye hair?
HM: I do.
EA: Can you teach me?
HM: Wait a bit.
CS: How close are you guys to me?
HM: I just left some houses I'm heading over now.
EA: I'm going to wander for a few more minutes.
Horizon sighed and kept walking. He didn't know his way around fairly well since he never went to the town centre in fear of being recognized but now that civilization was destroyed there was no reason for caring anymore. He was more focused on finding food for this pup instead of getting to Town Centre but if it meant he would see other people that could help he was ready to make the sacrifice. He was curious on why this EA person wanted their hair dyed in the middle of what was practically an apocalypse. Horizon didn't want to care but it did make him fairly confused. He got closer and closer to the Clock Tower and began to see a figure. Before he could figure out who it was he heard a buzzing noise above him, he slowly looked up and saw a drone of some sort carrying a small piece of some sort of fabric. It stopped above him and began to come closer. He panicked and dropped to the ground and pulled his hood over his face, if he could hide it couldn't see him right? The buzzing stopped and Horizon looked for it in the sky but couldn't see any trace of it, what was it? Where had it come from...? He stood up taking grip of a destroyed car. Catching his balance he walked closer to the person and realized that he was holding a Comm just like his. Was this EA? Maybe it was CS?
