Creed spots Horizon and motions him over to him. Horizon slowly walks up the stairs of the clock tower. No words are said, not even a noise, not a hiccup, cough, sneeze, or even breathing was heard from either of them. They just sat there on the Clock Tower steps wondering who should speak. Eryn left the corner shop and began to walk to the Clock Tower. Was this where they were meant to meet or was it the neighborhoods? Should she have stayed in the shops? She shook her head and saw two boys sitting at the Clock Tower. She ran up to them excited to see people.
"I'm Eryn! Are you guys the ones I was talking to on my Comm?",
She lifted her Communication Device and pointed at their previous conversations. Creed looked up at her and nodded his head,
"Yeah, I'm Creed or as the Comm calls me; CS".
He smiled at her and stood up. Horizon slowly stood up as well but didn't say anything, he didn't know if he should speak up or let them figure it out themselves. He was never a talkative person. He looked at Eryn then back at Creed, did they know who he was already?
"Are you HM?",
Creed spoke up, he put his comm in his pocket and looked at him. Horizon didn't verbally respond just shook his head,
"What does it stand for?",
Eryn asked him looking at him along with Creed. Horizon finally decided to speak not wanting them to get the wrong ideas about him,
"I'm Horizon.",
He said quietly while looking at his feet. Eryn giggled. She was going to say something but stopped herself, she was somewhat scared of Horizon so she was worried that if what she said came off wrong something would happen,
"What is it?",
Horizon spoke up trying to come off friendly, he let out a soft smile to soften his image. Eryn gazed up in the sky and noticed something, she rushed to grab Creed and Horizon. She grabbed onto both of their hoods and pulled them into the Clock Tower. Creed was confused until he heard a loud buzzing.
"What is th-"
Creed starting to say before Horizon put his hand over Creed's mouth and shushed him. The buzzing stopped as quick as it started. Creed took a second then finally spoke,
"Eryn what was that!? Why are we hiding from it?!".
He seemed annoyed by Eryn. She glared at him and pushed herself into a corner grabbing something out from her shoulder bag. Horizon watched as she pulled out some sort of wiring or circuit. He looked at it and opened his backpack, he nearly forgot about the pup he had hiding in the front pocket. He looked at Creed & Eryn before pulling the dog out and setting it down on the ground in front of them. He then continued to rummage through his bag for his sketchpad. Creed stared blankly at Horizon and the dog, he was confused. Eryn didn't bother with it she continued to examine the tech she had pinched between her two fingers. Creed looked at Eryn,
"That looks familiar, may I see it?"
He asked putting his outstretched palm towards her. She nodded and gently placed it in his hand. She quickly turned her attention to the pup, swiftly picking it up and holding it. Horizon finally found his sketchpad and quickly began to sketch what he saw before he made it to the Clock Tower. Creed was busy examining this piece of circuitry while Eryn played with the pup. Horizon finished his sketch, it was of the drone he saw with the piece of fabric. He set it down in front of the 3 of them,
"This is what made the noise, I saw it before coming here."
Horizon spoke while staring at the sketchbook. Eryn set down the pup and picked up the sketchpad,
"It looks like a drone, Creed do you think that circuitry is from a drone?"
She asked him while staring at what Creed held in his hand. Creed looked up and looked at the drawing. He looked back and forth between the two for a few seconds before nodding,
"It looks like it, I think this is part of the 'brain' of the drone, where it's controlled."
He put quotations in the air when he said brain. Horizon picked up his sketchbook and put it back in the backpack. Creed set down the circuitry and grabbed something out from his bag. A small laptop, the screen began to flash as Creed opened the lid of it. He took out some wires and managed to connect the circuitry to his computer. Eryn leaned over his shoulder as he began to type random inputs. All of a sudden a popup window appeared. Creed leaned closer to the brightly lit screen before the popup window disappeared. He stared at the screen longer and tried to mess with the wiring to get the popup window back,
"What did it say?"
Eryn questioned while leaning back against the wall. Creed glared at her and shrugged. He continued trying to get the popup back. Eventually, he gave up, he laid back onto the ground and sighed. Eryn looked at the computer screen when something showed up.

GE: Do you think they can see this?
CD: I doubt it if they can prepare the code words.
GE: The drones, one of them broke down.
CD: So? Retrieve and fix it?
GE: An important part is missing.
CD: What part?
GE: The control panel.
CD: Please tell me the kids didn't get it.
GE: I don't know the GPS on it broke from the fall.
CD: Ugh, Gare you never do your work.

The conversation ended. Creed leaned forward and read what happened. He picked up the control panel and stared at it. He quickly screenshotted the conversation before disconnecting the device. He packed everything up and took off his mask. Eryn looked at the dog and tried to think of what to do with it, how could 3 teenagers in a broken dystopian take care of this animal? She picked up the dog and slowly stood up,
"Eryn, what are you doing?"
Horizon looked up at her standing up as well. She looked at him and walked out of the Clock Tower. He began to think. Maybe she's doing the right thing of releasing it, maybe I should have left it there. Eryn walked towards the woods behind the Clock Tower and released the pup. She felt bad but she knew that they couldn't take care of it. She walked back into the Clock Tower and saw Horizon and Creed looking around.
