Chapter 13

Beastboy held Ravens hand tightly, he didn't know how to feel when he was around her, did he feel safe? Relaxed? He didn't know, he didn't want to know. All he cared about was that it felt good. More than good.

Rae and BB sat down on the bench at the park, he looked at her, Rae was currently finishing the last few pages of her book. Garfield didn't mind though, it gave him a chance to look at her, he loved the way her hair went onto her face from time to time and she would have to tuck it behind her ear again.  He loved the way her lips would tug up into a faint smile when she's enjoying her book. He loved every part of her. Her hair, eyes, lips, nose, cheeks, her chest, her legs. Everything.

Beastboy looked up, has he fallen so deeply in love with her? They have been dating for about 2 or 3 weeks now but he had a major crush on her for years, but the crazy thing is... She likes him back.

"What are you thinking about?" He heard her say. Oh her voice, he loved it more than anything in the world, even if she doesn't speak much, he could listen to her all day.

"You...."

Raven felt her cheeks heat up, her stomach tightened, it was a soothing feeling. She welcomed it instantly.

"Why me?" Raven questioned, Beastboy looked into her blue eyes.

"Because you're perfect..."

Raven looked away, "people don't seem to think the same way..."

"Like who?"

"Suge, Balial, my dad, everyone in the school... I'm... I'm "weird" I'm not like everyone else. I read for fun, I don't party, I don't drink or smoke. I guess I am weird"

"Raven" Raven looked up when she heard her name.

"Raven... I'm not the whole world... I'm only one person, but to me you're perfect. Indeed you are weird" He looked at her, "but you're my weirdo" And then they kissed.

It was a longing kiss, like they needed each other, it was one of those goodbye kisses but neither of them were going anywhere.

"Do me a favour B?" Raven asked after they pulled away, "Anything"

"Teach me how to play basketball?"

Beastboy nodded, smiling
