Chief Amobi's residents. late evening...
"Tony are you sure you won't get yourself into any trouble", his mom asked, displaying a bit of fear in her.
"Mom, I just told you to relax and forget about me for the rest of the evening"
"How can I relax tell me how can I when my only son is going to...."
"Mum don't start this all over again. Remember the doctor told you to rest", the phone buzzes. "I'll get it". He picks up. "Hello who is speaking...Oh! inspector Charlie!. Yes I told him to give you the message. Well of course. Mr Morris is supposed to be the Host. Yes.... no, I promised there won't be any problem at all. 10 p.m on the dot. Sure, bye."
To himself. "The game is set, now is to play it"
"Who was that on the line!?" his mum asked.
"Oh!, It's just an old friend mum. I have to get going now it's 9:20 already"
"Ok son I have to go up to bed for tomorrow. I suppose you remember that tomorrow is the day that the villagers will nominate a chief for the people, and by chief I mean you".
"I remember mum. But I have to finish this business first", he replied.
"I know I cannot convince you but... good luck to you, my son."
Surprised, he hesitated, "Goodnight mum", he thinks for a while before entering a room. Moments later, Tony emerges, he examines the pistol and dips its in his waist and leaves.
