There once was a girl, who lived on battlefield road.
She dreamed of making it big and having sold out shows, til one day it all feel apart or at least her spirit had lost its spark. There once was a girl who lived on battlefield road, the streets once warm and friendly were now rough and cold.
She knew she had a gift but like a snuffed out flame, she struggled to dry the soaked matches of "hope" and "belief " that everything was gonna be ok.
The world around her, would continue to turn, after all that's exactly what it did when her whole inner world began to burn.
Now there she sits, on a empty park bench, humming melodies only she knows...But I want you to know that I see you
Oh girl from battlefield road.
