After track, I drive home with my dad. I got out of the car after we parked in our driveway. I went inside followed by my dad. I texted Victoria.
'Hey Vic. Sleepover 2nite?'
She answered back, 'Course! I'll be over in 10.' I ran upstairs into my room and opened my curtains. My eyes opened. The empty grouse that had been abandoned form years had a young man in one of the rooms. He had to be close to my age. He was looking straight at me. I smiled and waved m. He waved back. I motioned down in the yard and he nodded. I closed my curtains and changed into a dark pair of jeans and a light blue sweater. I switched out my white boots for my black Converse and headed downstairs. I walked out into the yard. He was waiting for me already, leaning against his side of the fence.
"Hey there." he said. I smiled.
"Hi. Did you just move in next door?" I asked.
"Yeah. I moved in today. I missed school so I could help unpack. My brothers went to school so they could meet everyone."
"What school are you going to?"
"Lakeshore." My jaw dropped.
"That's where I go."
"That's so cool!"
"Well now you know someone! What grade are you in?"
"I'm a junior. My names Ryan. You are?"
"I'm Nina. Nina Chapen." I smiled at him. He was really gorgeous. I'd definitely date him. "Look...um. I'm having a party on Friday night. You should come. You can brim your brothers too." He smiled really big.
"That sounds great. I'll tell them about it. I should probably go inside. Why don't we hang out tonight?" he asked.
"Well that really sounds fun, but my friend is sleeping over. I wish I could." He frowned a little, but he recovered.
"That sucks. Maybe I'll see you tomorrow?" I smiled really bright and nodded. I waved and walked back in the house. Wow. He's gorgeous.
