i glanced over at lovely while the wind whipped through her hair.
"okay slow down you gon scare him." she said looking back at alegend.
i looked in the mirror at him and he had a big smile on his face.
i pulled his window down a little and speed up. he looked like he tried to eat the air.

"i haven't had Cane's in so long." she said setting Alegend down in the high chair.
i watched lovely take out her wallet as i ordered our food.
"mmcht. thank you." i said taking it and putting it in my back pocket.
"uh boy."
"that lame ass nigga had you buyin for ya own shii?" i asked shakin my head.
she didn't respond and turned to alegend.
i finished ordering and the lady came with our food.
i watched her bite her chicken sandwich and she started dancing.
why tf women always dance when they eat?
"he can eat this ma?" i asked her.
she nodded and gave him a small piece of fry. he moved it around his mouth.
"he fuckin that shit up." i said wit a smile.

"aight you done?" i asked her after we finished eating.
"yea. thank you." she said as i took her trash away.
"come on luh dude we got shoppin to do." i took alegend out the high chair and he laid his head on my shoulder like he was tired.
