Chapter 6

"So today we're starting a new assignment"
Mr. Wilsson said.

"You and your partner will write down some sums, then another duo has to solve as many of them as they can in two minutes. You and partner also have to solve the sums te other duo has written down in two minutes. whoever has solved the most sums wins!"

I'm definitely not going to win.

"And before everyone gets mad, YES you can choose your partner yourself"

The whole class was happy and walked over to eachother to choose their partners.

"Uhm guys.... there are three of us"
I said to Caleb and Sadie

"Oh... shit"
Sadie said

"Wait, I'll ask Mr. Wilsson"
Caleb said, standing up.

He walked to Mr.Wilsson's desk and asked
"Can there also be a trio?"

"You mean you, Sadie and y/n I assume?"

"Oh haha yes.."

"Yeah sure for this one time, but next time you'll have to form a duo."

"Okay okay thank you Mr. Wilsson"
Caleb said walking back to our tables

"Aaand...."
Sadie and I said at the same time

"He said yes for this one time!"

"Thank god"
I said

"Now let's get to work"
Caleb said.

"Okay everyone, don't forget to finish the assignment! It has to be done Thursday."
Mr. Wilsson said while the whole class was already packing their bags.

After I packed my bag I walked over to Sadie and Caleb

"At whose house are we gonna finish it and when?"
I asked them

"Mine if it's okay? And I have nothing to do after school so...."
Sadie said

Caleb and I nodded and smiled at her

"Well see you after school at my house!"

"See ya!"
Caleb and I said.

We all walked in different directions to our next class.

I was walking to my last class for today but suddenly my phone started ringing.

I looked and saw that my mom was calling.
Oh shit.
What did I do?
Maybe she knows about the party.
Oh no.
Should I answer it?
No.
Maybe something bad has happened.
I'm just gonna pick it up.

"Hi sweetie, I have some bad news..."

Oh no

"Oh uhm... what is it..?"

"Well, I was taking a shower when suddenly I saw a termite. Nothing bad I thought, but then I saw another one and another one. So your dad called the pest control and apparently our house is full of termites.."
She said

"Oh shit! But where are we gonna live now?"

"Language!!! And, we're gonna stay at Karen's and David's house until all of the termites are gone. I told Karen about it and she offered to let us stay at their house. I also thought, maybe you and Louis could work your fight out. It's been so many years and you've both changed. Maybe you two can be friends again?"

yes I know Karen and David aren't their real names, I just thought it would be a little weird to use their real names. Also Louis is just like y/n an only child in this story, also because I thought it would be a little weird for Millie and Issie.

Yep you heard that right.
My mom is still friend with Louis's mom and she still hopes Louis and I can be friends again. Which is not going to happen. She always says we're being immature and childish and "it's been so long! Just forget about it.".

"Okay well that's really nice of them but can't we stay at someone else's house? Or at a hotel???"

"No we cannot y/n. I know you don't want to go because of Louis but like I've said plenty of times, it's been so long and-"

"-and we've both changed blablabla, I know mom."

"Y/n, I know you don't want to stay with the Partridges but we don't really have another choice."

"I know. How long do we have to stay there?"

"Two weeks or a month maybe?"

"Ughhh. Anyways, do I have to pack my stuff?"

"No you don't, your grandparents are already helping us to pack everything we need."

"Thank god. Well I have to go to class, bye mom!!"

"I'll pick you up after school, bye sweetie!"

I hung up and walked to class

So rn I'm on vacation in France for 2 weeks!!!
