Cameron Jones is the star of the football team. He’s got money, looks, personality, etc. Every girls dream but there is only one tiny problem the girl he’s been wanting since the third grade thinks he’s totally rude and an asshole. He’s been trying so hard to get Alexandria by herself to really let her get to know him. The only problem with that is the fact that Alexandria is not into Cameron.

Alexandria is a simple teenager; she loves reading, writing, math, and music. Cameron loves her for whom she is, the football team hates Alexandria because she’s a “nerd” only to become someone she didn’t know she was.

Cameron was walking through the hallway with his backpack on his shoulder; he was looking at the floor with only one thing on his mind, Alexandria. Alexandria was standing at her locker putting up history book.

“Hey Alexandria, what are you doing afterschool?”

“I’m just doing homework then maybe going to the mall. Why you ask?” Alexandria looked confused.

“Well I was hoping you’d go the movies with me after school.” Cameron said with hope in his voice.

“Nah I’m good, I’ve got a lot of homework.”

“But you said you were going to the mall after your homework?” he said with a lot of confusion in his voice.

“I know what I said; I’m going to the mall with Andy.” Alexandria replied with hope someone would walk towards them and start talking.

“Oh well, then never mind maybe some other time then. Unless you want to go out with me?” Cameron replied with hope in his voice more then anything now.

“No thanks. I’m thinking about asking Andy out; Andy is so sweet and so innocent. I really like Andy.”

“Ew he’s a weirdo creeper. You’d be better off with me then that creep of a kid. He’s not worth your time.”  Cameron started to lean against the locker to try and seduce her into looking at him to win her heart.

“Whatever. I got to go to chemistry now. Bye.” Alexandria walked away without looking back at him to see if he’s actually going to walk after her.

Cameron just stood at her locker hoping she’d come back and apologize for not taking his offer. But as Alexandria kept walking away he knew she was one woman at the school who had no interest in him.

Alexandria walked into her classroom with love on her heart and regret and pain on her mind. Andrew was sitting in the front of the classroom by himself with his head on the desk slightly regretting taking a public school offer. Alexandria looked at her best friend, Casey, who looked back at her and gave her the nod to go sit with him. Alexandria walked silently towards him and sat down to the left of him and just looked at his “Stand Up to Cancer” logo that was written in sharpie that was on his wrist.

“Andy? Are you alright?” Alexandria looked concerned

“Not really, my stomach is really bothering me. I don’t feel good at all.”Andy placed his pale cheek back onto his sleeve.

“Want me to take you to the nurse? You look really sick.” Alexandria looked concerned and lightly questioned.

“I don’t care. It’s up to you Alexandria.”

“Please call me Alex. Hope you don’t mind I call you Andy”

Andy nodded in silence giving the okay nod. Alexandria lightly grabbed his under arm and walked to the door when the teacher, Mr. Tacket, walked in questioning why she’s had her hands on Andy.
