I Love You

Home At Last

After five days resting in the hospital, Andy was finally home at last. Still in a lot of pain but he’s going to finish his recovery at home. He surely missed his home, as his mom left him a nice little surprise in his room. Alex.

          Andy walked into his room to put his clothes in his laundry basket and Alex was laying on his bed waiting for him. Andy looked at her with her shorts that are cut-off jeans and a Guns N’ Roses tank top. He was amazed on her taste in music tees. Andy looked wide-eyed and open mouthed. Andy reached over and traced her chin and pulled her into a kiss. She smiled and kissed him back and gently biting his lip.

          “Babe I missed that so much. So my mom said that I can go back to school Monday. I’m so excited; I can finally interact with people again.” Andy joked around.

          “Baby-doll you know you can always come and interact with me and my friends. My friend Casey invited you and myself to a party next Saturday night. I want you to come. PLEASE!!!” Alex said excited and whiney like so she can get her way.

          “Ill try babe. I will really try. But it depends on how much schoolwork I have to make up.” Andy replied

          “You don’t have any. All we did was watch movies and did a lab but you were my partner so I did the work for us babe.” Alex excitedly said.

          “Oh well I guess I can go then—“Andy trailed off

          “Then what?” Alex questioned.

          “Nothing. I lost my train of thought. The party, yeah I think I will go. Sounds really fun, but is Cameron going to be there? Because if he is, I sure as hell isn’t going to go. Me and him are like oil and water. We hate each other so damn much. But there is something you don’t know about when I was in the hospital. Cameron came into my room, and we got into a huge fight, but I’m ok. I promise.” Andy stammered and quickly said hoping Alex won’t get mad.

          “Wait?! Cameron had gotten into you room? How? And no, Cameron isn’t going to be there, but the thing is that Cameron is trying to break us up.” Alex said with a tear in her eye.

          “Yeah Cameron snuck into my room as I was sleeping, he tried to choke me and kill me. If the nurse didn’t walk in when she did I probably wouldn’t be standing here today.” Andy looked down.

          Alex pulled him into a sweet and comforting hug. “Babe, I will get to the bottom of this once and for all.” Alex pulled out her cell phone and sent Cameron a text saying to come to the park at 3:30 p.m. No friends. Just him.

          Cameron had texted back with a smart ass remark. Oh you finally realized that I’m better then that freak of nature? It’s about time.  I can treat you way better then he can ever dream of treating you.

          Alex wasn’t happy about the reply but she didn’t want to start another fight between them. Alex threw her phone into her purse and she pulled Andy to his bed. Andy put his hand around her shoulder and Alex leaned her head onto his shoulder.

          “Babe, I’m happy were finally together. It’s been a dream of mine that we would get together, I have truly admired you for a long time now.” Alex quietly whispered.

          Andy didn’t respond, Alex soon realized that he was sleeping. She softly put her hand on his chest to feel his breathing. Andy’s chest was slightly moving up and down. Andy’s mother came into the room and seen Andy was sleeping. She offered Alex to come into the living room, where Andy can get his rest. Alex sat up and kissed Andy on the lips and she carefully stepped over him and walked into the living room.
