**2 hours later, Adrien comes in the room with fruits, candy, and hot tea**
Adrien: here you go, kids **smiles**
Gabriel: where were you for the last 2 hours?
Marie: for real like what the heck.
Adrien: just um... talking to your mother.
Gabriel: y'all fought or something?
Adrien: it's ok, don't worry about it. Y'all are kids.
Marie: I'm so freaking tired of that, we aren't 5. We are more mature than you and mum think.
Gabriel: Yea. You have no idea what we have gone through due to you and mama being so oblivious. You never consider our feelings.
Marie: exactly. We have been through fights with bullies and friends. Gone through relationships. Lost friends. Been un-supervised for most of our lives. Bought a whole bunch of stuff. I've been fired and hired for jobs. There is so much more too.
Gabriel: yep..
Adrien: why didn't you tell me, or your mum, or Auntie Alya, or Uncle Nino??
Gabriel: we told Auntie Alya, we text her all the time.
Marie: yea..
Adrien: oh.
Gabriel mhm...
Adrien: I'm just going to leave.
Gabriel: ok dad.

**Adrien leaves the room, and Marie comes down from the loft, goes to the door, and locks it**
Marie: bet he'll tell mum so we might as well lock the door.
Gabriel: yep. Ima take a nap, so do whatever you want with the TV and other stuff.
Marie: oki, sleep well. **smiles**

**About 15 minutes later, Gabriel falls asleep, Marie gets in bed under the sheets, and gets on her phone to watch tiktok. She gets a notification from Discord.**
Marie: who is it now..
**Marie taps on the notification and sees that Jayden had texted her.**
Marie: hallelujah **smiles**

Jayden: well Ima get off so I can get dressed and eat breakfast.
