Akaashi's POV
"Come on there's a great spot right there!" I was dragged to a grassy spot up on the hill, with lovely flowers all around.
We set up the blanket and I decided to play with her.
"Hey what's that over there?" I took my chance to drag her down on the blanket when she looked over
"Aya Keiji! You scared me." She playfully pouted at me.
"Alright I'll warn you next time." I obviously lied.
"Hey look at the clouds!! Can you see the shapes?"
"No I can't, what do they look like y/n?"
"Well that one looks like a sword! Annnnndddd that one there looks like a lopsided heart." She described as she pointed to clouds that looked like random clouds to me.
"Nope, I still can't see them."
"Okay try close your eyes and open them again! Maybe it would work this time!"
I did as she said, taking my time. "Alright, 1, 2, 3! Open!"
My eyes focused on the blue sky, only to be met with a greyish color.
My heart clenched and all the air left my lungs.
My eyes start watering as the scene replayed in my mind. "Yes, I can see them now." Those hopeless words were spoken to nobody, and the imaginary shapes in the sky were flooded with my tears. All I could see were rain clouds, and not a single shape.I pulled my arm over my eyes as tears strolled down my red cheeks. "Do you see the shapes up there Y/n?"
When I look over to where she'd lay, holding my hand, only to be greeted with dying flowers, and an empty, silent space.
I felt the grass that was coarse, almost as if everything felt my pain today.
There was no rambling, laughter, bright smiles or playful attitudes. There wasn't any color, full feelings, or love. There was no Y/n.
I was spiraling. I cried out loud. I come here everyday hoping I'd see her laying there in the grass, waiting for me.
"Why'd you have to leave me?"
I saw this concept somewhere and couldn't find it so if the author can see this please let me know!
