Will's POV:
There I stand, outside in the pouring rain, parking my bike right next to my two friends Lucas and Dustin's bikes. We arrived at the Wheeler's house, hoping to figure out what was up with Mike.
"Mike didn't even bother to come to the movie tonight." Lucas says wiping the rain off of his forehead with his camouflage bandana.
"He is probably will El, sharing their millionth true loves kids," says Dustin, rolling his eyes. Him and Lucas make kissy faces at each other, mocking El and Mike. Towards the ground, was a little window peeking into the top of Mike's basement. I wiped some of the raindrops off of it with my jacket sleeve, and stared. El was laying on mikes legs, giggling adoringly.
"Hey will, are you gonna come over here?" "We are about to ring the doorbell hoping to startle the crap out of the two lovebirds." The boys had their fingers about a centimeter away from the doorbell. "One sec," I said, still peeking through the window.
"Ring!" goes the doorbell, but El and Mike don't bother to move from what I can see. They are now sharing a root beer float from a nearby fast food place, and watching a cute romantic movie. I hear the door open, so I peek over in that direction.
Ms. Wheeler opens the door, with a colorful striped dress, bright red lipstick, and bouncy curls of hair. "Oh hey kids! Is Mike expecting you?" she asks. "Uh, no Ms. Wheeler. We were just checking in on him, since he blew off our Friday night movie with the party." said Lucas. "Oh okay. Well you should still come in, it is quite rainy outside! Here, take a towel. I think Mike is downstairs with Eleven."
Lucas grabs the towel and starts to enter the house. Dustin steps back a few steps towards me, and asks "Will, are you coming?" "Yeah," I quickly respond, taking one last glance through the window at the two lovers. I wish that was me with you, Mike Wheeler.
