6th year:

It had been six years since that day in the train.

The four boys, or "Mauraders" as they called himself we're pretty much the hottest guys in school. With every girl practically throwing themselves at mainly Sirius and James' feet. Sirius always ate this up soaking in the attention, and James also couldn't help but feel a bit flattered and from time the time was known as a little bit of a player (not as bad a Sirius but you get the point) everyone knew they James was head over heels for the Brunette girl he had met six years ago.

Nova on the other hand had different feelings towards the boy. She didn't necessarily hate James but he did bother the girl quite a bit. Over the past years James as used every excuse to ask Nova out, trying to win the heart of the girl of which his belong to. She at first thought it was maybe a little sweet but now she couldn't go a conversation with him without leaving annoyed and bothered.

"Bye mum! Bye dad!" James said as he and Sirius went off to the train.

"Bye Mia! Bye Fleamount!" Sirius chimed at the parents. Over the summer Sirius had left home and was taken in by the loving Potters.

The two then met up with Remus and Peter making their way to the girls compartment.

"Hello ladies!" Sirius said as he swung an arm around an annoyed Marlene.

"Get off me you dog. Why are you guys even here?" Marlene questioned.

"The rest of the compartments were full." James said.

"We both know that's a lie you just wanted to come in here to bother Nova." Lily spoke.

"I do not bother her. She loves me!" James remarked.

"Who loves you?" Nova asked.

"How the hell did she get even more beautiful over the break?" James thought.

"Hello love, might i just say how breathtaking you look today." James beamed at the girl swinging an arm around her shoulders.

"Thank you Potter." She said not as annoyed as she normally would be. Other the summer James had sent her a whopping 32 letters. While she did reply to some of them and even a few made her laugh, she would never tell anyone that.

Nova made her way to a seat between Lily and Mary, laughing and really quite glowing she had no idea of the boy staring right at her completely and utterly infatuated.

"Hey wipe the drool off your chin will you?" Sirius whispered while nudging the bright-eyed boy.

"She really is something isn't she?" James acknowledged not taking his eyes off her for a second.

"I guess she is" Sirius chimed.

"Your insane!" Nova stated.

"How do you like Mr. Darcy!?" Remus questioned.

"How do you not?!" Nova jokingly yelled.

"Wow, you guys are such nerds!" Marlene commented.

"What are you guys talking about?" James asked

"Remus here is being insane and doesn't like Mr. Darcy" Nova responded making James flustered with the eye contact that they were making

"He is an egotistical prat who has something stuck up his ass!" Remus exclaimed.

"Yes he does and I love him for that." She laughed.

"Then hey maybe you do have a chance James" Sirius joked leaving James with a smidge of hope.

Later when the train had stopped Nova went to get her back again not being able to reach and falling in the process. But before she could touch the ground she was in the arms of the boy who she so called was an "arrogant wanker".
