"hey," I said in an awkward tone and everyone started saying hi there was this one person who was SO FINE but he seemed like he didn't wanna be there. when he said hi it was faint and very fast almost as if he wanted to cry "these are my friend's Ray, Fuckshit, Stevie, fourth grade, and Estee. I grabbed my skateboard and walked outside awkwardly everyone started walking and talking but me and the kid who was quiet. He looked back at me and said "hey I'm Stevie, I don't think you said your name" "my names iris" I said we started talking and getting to know each other while everyone was talking about memories and stuff we kinda were having a deep conversation when estee said "baby, come here" she said with a pouty face he left and he walked up to them so I figured there dating which means I should probably back off and stuff after a couple of minutes he came back "anyways, where were we" he said "I should probably go talk to Ruben" I said and before he could say anything back I caught up with the rest of the group "Hey you ok" Ruben asked "yah just kinda here" I said signaling that I didn't like being there "what do u mean" he said he seemed like he didn't care I love him and all but he's acting different "nothing its whatever"
Stevies POV
I woke up this morning being greeted by who I believe is my mom's new boyfriend in nothing but a towel which caused my mood to change completely this is her third boyfriend this month I just wish my dad and her can get back together I ate breakfast which was just a piece of toast and headed down to the skate shop where my friends usually hang I saw everyone there and we were just kinda chilling. The whole time Ruben kept talking about this childhood friend who he hasn't seen in 2 years and she in LA something about wanting to see her I wasn't really paying attention today is just not a good day for me "iris wants to hang, you guys down" Ruben said everyone agreed so we headed over to her place and it was actually ginormous she opened the door smiling but that smile quikley turned to to confusion she was very pretty and was short which was really cute i was planning on ignoring everyone for the rest of the day but she seemed kinda lonely and closed off and so was i so i decided i should talk to her we ended up having a deep conversation she told me about her life i told her about mine, turns out we both have problems with our parents which kind of bonded us we were mid convo when estee calls me over the thing with me and her is that there really is anything going on just occasionally fucking each other but sometimes she treats me like her boyfriend which can be annoying i know she only called me the way she did which was "baby come here" was because she saw i was talking to iris and was getting jealous "what do u want" i said "woah some ones grumpy" she replied with a little chuckle "do u not know how to not interrupt a conversation" i scolded "but i wanna be the girl your talking to" she said with a pout "just leave me alone" i walked away and back to iris and said "anyways where were we" and then she told me that she should probably go back to ruben and before i could say anything back she ran off i wonder if i did anything that might of made her uncomfortable. i didn't go up to iris cause she obviously didn't want to talk to me so i just walked again by my self.

i woke up this morning after spending the whole day with Rubens friends i got up from my bed and was gonna take a shower i hadn't realized but it was already 2:30 pm i was getting my clothes ready for the shower and then i got one of my daily text from Ruben
