Garret: Well, Alex, I'd never imagine you'd come back to these slums, especially now since you're a dog of the Military.
Alex: Listen man, we just need to get some weapons from this factory and we'll be on our way, we can even pay handsomely with FAWZ credits.
Garret: You know as well as I do that those credits mean diddly squat. Everyone has already heard that your military camp got wiped out, and even better sources say it was just one guy. Anyways, why would I want to help you, after you left Amanda and I on our own?
Jimmy: Hey Alex, I don't want to interrupt this touching this reunion, but who is this bozo?
Alex: I've apologized for leaving you guys, but that was nearly 10 years ago. I had no other choice, after the imperialists killed my family I had to seek revenge. Amanda has forgiven me, why can't you?
Garret: Your family was here Alex, Amanda and I were your family, and you never turn your back on family. There's a bounty on your head, you know? Kim himself is offering immunity to whoever brings you guys in. There's someone I know that needs both the money and protection, he even agrees with my sentiments about family. Fellas, let him through.
Garret's goons proceeded to open a large garage door that was adjacent to our heroes. A loud purr of an engine was heard. Out came a dodge charger, and a bald headed man with a tank top emerged.
Mysterious stranger: I heard you have no regard for family, that makes us enemies.
Alex: Sweet ride, if you leave now it won't get totalled.
Mysterious stranger: This car is strong, almost as strong as family. I'm here to take you down, it's nothing personal.
Alex: Well, if I can't change your mind, at least tell me your name before we fight.
Mysterious Stranger: Toretto, Dom Toretto.
Dom pulled a double barrel shotgun and aimed it at Alex. Alex was too fast for Dom, in an instant Alex cut the shotgun in half with his blade. Dom stood there amazed.
Dom Toretto: You're pretty fast, the only thing that fast is a V8 engine in a dodge charger.
Alex: I'll still give you a chance to walk away before I slice off whatever hairs you have left.
Dom Toretto: I never turn my back on Family.
Dom pulled out two large monkey wrenches from the passenger side of his car. He was strong enough to swing them around like they were made out of paper.
*Author's note: If this were any normal fight, Alex would have made short work of his enemy, but it's written into Vin Diesel's contract that he can't lose a fight on screen*
Alex: Listen Dom, I care about family. I left home to protect my family from the Imperialists, they killed my family. We can't keep fighting, the fate of the world may be at stake!
Dom: I can understand parting ways with family, I've had to part ways with my brother, Brian O'Connor. Hold on though, you're talking about the fate of the world? I'll help you out, I also want to keep my family safe.
The clashing of steel stopped, but the sounds still echoed in the room. Dom and Alex shook hands, then Dom pulled out two Coronas out of his center console and handed one to alex. He popped his trunk to reveal a grill and slapped some carne asada on the hot charcoal. The two heroes got to talking about what their next move would be.
