Part 1 The move

I stand in my room for the very last time. Taking it all in. I see the old stickers on my wall from when I was little. I see the old paper on the wall from ripped posters and all the memories I've had here.

I can't believe I'm moving. I've lived here since I was 8, now I'm 17. I'm moving back to Indiana, my hometown. I moved here when I was 8 and the reason being is because my parents divorced. I moved out in Cali with my dad. Now I'm going back to live with my mom.

I'm actually happy I'm moving back. I get to see my friends! I've kept contact with my best friend Alyssa . We text, FaceTime, call, email, everything. She's the only one who I've been talking to though. It's been 9 years since I've seen her in person. I can't wait to actually hug her again. I can't wait to see the guys either, it's been forever.

"Abby come on its time to go" my dad said breaking me from my thoughts. He is driving me to the airport.

I'm finally here. Fresh in Indiana. I'm waiting for Alyssa to pick me up. She's taking me back to her house to grab her things then to my moms. She is gonna spend the night with me since it's my first night I'm town. BEEP BEEP! I turn around seeing Alyssa hop out of her car. I dropped my stuff and went running to her. We both jumped into a hug. " oh my gosh I've missed you so much" I scream with tears in my eyes. She was crying so much nothing would come out. I pulled away looking how much she has changed. "You look great" I say smiling, "you do to" she said. We grabbed my things and put them in her car and headed off.

"MOM" I shout jumping into her arms. It's been 2 months since I've seen her but I don't care she's my mom! "I've missed you so much mom, I love you" I say stepping away. "I've missed you too and I love you". She took my hand and walked me to the family room. I told them some things I did and some more about what happened.

I started to yawn when my mother told me to go up and go to bed. "I bet you have had a long day, you should go up and get your rest for tomorrow". "Tomorrow"? I question. "Remember Nash and them"? "Yeah of course" I say. "Well him and the guys wanna see you tomorrow so I said that it was okay, Alyssa is gonna drive you to the park so you guys can talk and hang out" my mother said with a smile on her face. I look over at Alyssa to see her smiling as well. "Okay" I say with a smile in return. "Goodnight mom , love you" I say hugging her then walking up the steps to my bedroom. I walked down the huge hallway following Alyssa to my room. It was the last room on the right.

I walked into my room to see a king sized bed with two stands beside it. One had a alarm clock and the other had a lamp with two picture frames. One of me and Alyssa when we were younger and the other of me and my mom from the last time I saw her.

Across the room was a desk with a laptop on it and art supplies since I like to draw. There was a lamp as well and a little pink trash can sitting beside the desk. There was also a walking in closet with clothes already there. I also had my own bathroom. It was huge! The tub had jets and the sink had 2 lights at the top perfect for doing my makeup. When you exited the bathroom on the right was a balcony.

"Like it"? I heard Alyssa say from behind me. "Like it?! I love it"! I said hugging her. "I'm so happy to be back" I added. "I'm happy to have you back" Alyssa said smiling.
