Next Day! Its Diwali

There was a Diwali party at Aashna's house in the evening. Mehta's were obviously invited and Rhea's family i.e. Singhania's too.

Sanket didn't wanted to go but still wanted to obviously he loves Honey he cannot deny this fact.

He wanted to see her, to check whether she is fine or not. So after thinking a lot he decided to go. When he was getting ready he got a call from Mr. Singhania (gadhha)

Sanket- kya hai?

Mr. S- woahh straight to the point! I like it. So divorce papers are ready you both just need to sign them.
(call ends)

After hearing what he said Sanket was shook though they were not living together but knew what they feel for each other.

Sanket finally gathered himself and got ready. Sanket knew what was going to happen but Aashna had no idea.

Aashna was checking preparations. Sanket thought to go to her house early because of those stupid papers.

When he entered he saw Aashna resting with her eyes close and leaning on the couch. Aashna didn't notice him.

Sanket came and sat beside her

Sanket- Aashna..

Aashna- yes?

Sanket- a..actually these are the papers you have to sign for our divorce. I have already signed.

Aashna looked at Sanket with a blank expression but Sanket didn't even bother to look at her. She quietly signed those papers and left from there.

Sanket kept looking at her until she entered her room. Sanket also left.

Much later guests started coming. Singhania's also came and later Mehta's too. Aashna was getting ready in her room just then someone knocked at her room door.

It was Sanket's mom. She came inside

S.M.- Honey, Sanket toh kuch btayega nahi tum hi bata do. Mai nahi chahti ki wo uss chhipkali Rhea se shaadi kare!!

Aashna- aunty woh-

S.M.- Honey please!! Call me mom i won't accept Rhea as my daughter in law. It was you, it is you and will be you.

Aashna smiles and tells everything that happened.

Aashna- mom ik you'll also not believe me but thats ok. I understand.

S.M.- I believe you Honey and rahi baat Sanket ki toh he'll also understand this really soon.

Aashna- He'll not mom. He is free now he is free to marry anyone.

Her voice held pain and her words left Sanket's mom shocked.

S.M.- wdym he is free. Honey wo kisi aur se shaadi nahi kar sakta!!

Aashna- wo kar sakta hai mom. We-we are divorced now. Sanket ko jisse shaadi karni hai wo kar sakta hai he don't need to think about me.

She said this looking to the other side and held herself strong.

Sanket's mom heard Aashna's words and stood there numb.

S.M.- Di-ivor-ce?

Without listening to Aashna she went out of the room.

Aashna sat there thinking what will happen next and the next moment Sanket with his parents and Aashna's parents came.

S.M.- Sanket tu kuch bolega? Tune divorce de diya honey ko? kyuuuu? Us Rhea ke liye?
