Chasing Dreams

곧 다시 만납시다,

Everyone lives with a dream or two or maybe even a handful of them throughout our life,

I'm talking about the 'Dream' that most humans want to fulfill or succeed with, not the 'Dream' that we have while we are sleeping,

You can mix those two with each other and have a misunderstanding appear so I just wanted to clear it up.

Whether it's a simple dream like wanting to see a specific animal, going someplace you always wanted to go to, cooking something you've always wanted to,

Or maybe a lifelong dream like to learn something new that you could potentially use in the near future and benefit from it,

Or to even finish a degree and graduate college so your parents could be proud of you.

Then we have the deeper or more meaningful dreams that I'm sure everyone has but,

We don't think about it that much since humans tend to live not thinking about them until we get more mature in the future,

Whether you would like to see your children graduate with smiles in their faces,

To change something you've always wanted to change in your life or even the world,

To see all your loved ones happy even though you aren't even that close anymore,

Or to even find your so called 'soulmate' everyone seems to be unconsciously looking for.

They say that dreams could only be dreams and should only be dreams yet with the right cooperation of fate and such things,

Once you actually start moving towards it,

There could either be a sliver of what you've been wishing for or maybe even the whole thing by the end of your rough and unsteady journey,

It's something only those who really long for their dreams to happen,

Gets.

Dreams varies on how everyone lives and for Hitomi to be asked what her number one dream is,

It simply sums up to the ability to see that one important person she has in her life with a fulfilled smile in her face,

So happy with what she is doing that her lips even reached her tips of her ears,

Knowing that she was able to help her even in the slightest bit to achieve what she always wished,

And even if it means that she could never be with her like how she wants it to be,

I mean,

She doesn't want to be with her but you could really point a finger on the point that she just doesn't want to take the risk of making her something lesser than a friend,

And maybe even possibly returning to being strangers to each other,

She'll be glad enough that she was at least able to reach hers without her knowing that Hitomi could never reach her own unwanted dream.

She would always be glad to see her indescribable smile without knowing any of the undesired truth.
