This is a story of polar opposites. But hey, opposites attract. And when they do, somthing spectacular happens. For example, Percy meeting Annabeth. Or Tessa O'Connell and Cole Stone. Or magnets. Well, magnets aren't all that spectacular.
Anyway, Miracle Johnson had always been bullied and abused. She just needed an escape. No one ever noticed the scars or burns on her arms.
Her mom and dad noticed, but didn't care. After all, they were the ones who caused most of them. And they just kept adding them. Cuts, and scars, and burns, and bruises. Then she added some of her own.
Till this day, she still hasn't stopped. She's now 18, and living by herself in New York.
