A/N: There's very harsh language in this chapter!

Walking into school on Monday after one of my life's wildest and most amazing weekends was like snapping out of a wonderful dream. I was expecting the school to be buzzing with gossip right now. There's no way everything blew over in the matter of a weekend.

Could it?

Adjusting the strap on my backpack, I continued to make my way towards the theatre. I wanted to get there a little bit before class started so I could talk to Mrs. Dervis about the show Oscar and I saw on Saturday. I now have so many ideas about the props and the set from watching that performance.

As I passed one of the bays of lockers, I heard a deep shout come from the depths of the hallway behind me. I didn't feel like witnessing a bro moment between random guys, so I kept pace, excited to get to the auditorium.

"Hey! I'm talking to you!" The source of the voice is getting significantly closer. Officially curious, I looked over my shoulder to find Austin pushing towards me. He carelessly dropped his books on the floor, face turning red with building anger.

Stopping a few feet away from me, chest heaving, "What are you deaf and blind?" he spat.

Uh oh.

Not even sure what was happening, I could feel myself falling into the paralyzing grip of confrontation. I stared up at him, not saying a peep because I couldn't be sure I wouldn't just let out a whimper.

I mean, Oscar and I only just talked about this on Saturday! I wanted to start small, maybe try sending my coffee back if they got the order wrong. Not this!! Literally anything but this.

"Where are they?" he seethed, looking at me like a bug beneath his foot, ready to be absolutely crushed.

"Whe-Where's who?" I finally broke his stare and looked around us. A little crowd was beginning to form. In a matter of seconds, nearly every kid making their way to class right now scooted closer to us. Eager to see a fight. I quickly scanned the hallway for someone I recognized.

"Where are the rest of you nothings? The ones that pulled Brynn and Drew into their little 'revenge' plot?" he barked, putting air quotes around revenge.

''We're not nothing," I whispered. Looking around again desperately for anyone I knew. I saw only kids pulling out their phones and excitement buzzing through the hallway.

"What the hell did you just say?" he snarled. "Speak up, loser; we can't hear past your fucking ugly face."

I sucked in a breath as if my life depended on it. And maybe, it honestly did because Austin was sucking the air out of my lungs with the pure hate oozing out of every glance. The familiar weight of my tongue took over, and I was officially suffocating on my own cowardice. My body felt like it was on fire and being plunged into a frozen lake.

He looked around at the students who were drinking in my personal nightmare. He snapped back towards me with venom, "Who talked Brynn into it? Because I heard it was you, the little bitch who is probably screwing Drew just to make him turn on me," he sneered.

I hated that some of the guys behind him chuckled as I felt tears pool in the corner of my eyes. I shouldn't let him speak to me this way. I can't let him speak to me this way. I promised Oscar I would start standing up for myself.

No. I promised myself I wouldn't let people walk all over me.

"Or maybe it's someone from the little pack of gay freaks who somehow think they have the right even to speak my name! Not only are they going to burn in hell for all eternity, I'm going to make sure their life here is hell too," he hissed, taking another step closer to me.
